Wrong. It is Mitch No Connell and the Republicans also not taking up or even considering anything else - and pretending to suddenly be fiscally responsible. He is very fiscally responsible when it is convenient. So much more good for the American people could come from what the progressives want passed than the trillion we gave to the rich right under McConnells nose.
Yes pass the infrastructure bill. But there is more good that can be done with our money than helping rich people and that wasn’t a problem for Mitch who is suddenly fiscally responsible. Cant just ignore that whole side of things.

Again though if you are the progressive wing take the infrastructure bill because it is better than nothing. Still more to the picture than meets the eye though. And as usual road block McConnell is talking out of another side of his ass the fuckin hypocritical lying sack of Shit. His suddenly fiscally responsible self is very reminiscent of his we wont push through a Supreme Court justice in an election year self is all im saying. Reminiscent of the we don’t need to investigate the insurrection self. He is the most partisan hack of all time. And bipartisanship seems to be the issue here.

You do know that Mitch McConnel voted for the infrastructure bill, right?

You are circumventing the big picture. Of course he voted for it. With the caveat that nothing else would be considered- whst the progressives wanted - because he is suddenly and conveniently fiscally responsible. Now pick up with my last post.

I am good with the bill. We can't keep kicking the climate change can down the road to future generations both that and infrastructure will get Americans back to work. The way I see both climate change and infrastructure is economist tell us how expensive it is to repair and don't do it next thing you know. Five decades go by and the cost is ten times as high.

I am not a fan on Manchin he has zero problems adding thousands to welfare so his family can gain millions just not a decent human being.

Sinema I feel is going to switch parties next election.

Mitch McConnell might be the most passive aggressive lying bitch in the universe. I cannot even take his stupid voice anymore. How fuckin long is he going to live? Probably 125.

Some turtles 🐢 really do live for a long ass time.

"According to the Turtle Conservation Society, most turtle species live from 10 to 80 years. But sea turtles and large land tortoises can live to be much older. Their lifespan can be 150 years or more."

Blue states have an option around the salt tax discussion…blue states could easily and simply lower tax rates. It’s unfair to everyone regardless of tax brackets

States that voted for Democrat Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election have, on average, better high school and college graduation rates than states that supported Republican Mitt Romney, according to U.S. Census data.

Red states fall 1.5 percentage points below the national average for high school completion rate (84.2% vs. 85.7%), and 3.3 percentage points below the national average for college degree attainment (25.1% vs. 28.4%).

Blue states, in comparison, perform slightly above the national averages—by 0.8 and 2 percentage points, respectively.

Few factors bear as heavily on the well-being of any state’s citizens as their overall quality of health. In evaluating the Best States for health care, access to preventive medical and dental treatment for children and adults alike is a key consideration.

Hawaii is the top state for health care. It’s followed by Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and California to round out the top five.

if Maryland had the school system and health care of Alabama or Mississippi .. I wouldnt live in Maryland.

Maryland is ranked as the 4th best public school state in the Country and Howard County is ranked the 1st county in Maryland.

I have a major hospital 5 miles from my house. I have John Hopkins 20 miles from my house.

I have a 6 figure job and am surrounded by job opportunities in the 6 figure range. My house increased over 100k in value over the past few years.

We pay more in State and local taxes but live in a better state of health wealth and social services.

Exactly, choice is what this country is all about. Kinda like laws in some states seem to offend someone 800 miles away. Like why would they care and get emotionally involved?

But this post doesn’t address why support a federal package would give massive tax break to most affluent and then construct a false narrative stating we are taxing the rich?

Well I support high taxes because I can afford it, isn’t really a defense. I imagine in can find folks who can’t. Representative government also doesn’t matter if you think you or Maryland is better than someone in Alabama or Alabama itself. Folks love both states and chose to live there for different reasons. Shit, Alabama has a song about calling it home. Never heard the Maryland one.

I don’t even know where to put this. It is probably Trumps fault though. It ultimately boils down to hate
And lies and the ratings it generates and we all know who the king of hate and lies is.

People must be losing their minds. How do i know what everyone is having for dinner? And I haven’t seen a picture of the baby in four hours?
