I hate to interupt the Throwback conversation, but what are the Skins wearing this weekend @ Steelers? White tops on Gold bottoms I guess?

The 70th spear set was worn twice against the Giants and 49ers, which is the league limit for throwbacks, except for the league's 75th anniversary in 1994...seemed like there were no rules then. We had road and home throwback versions, as did all teams because the league wanted everyone to match up in throwbacks. Most of those uniforms were hideous and inaccurate though

man, i really thought we wore them for a handful of games.

i was also confused because i attended the redskins-saints game in 2003, and they were wearing the spears. have they worn the spears since 2003?

so twice a season is the hard limit on throwbacks?

You mean next week? We don't know yet.

White on gold vs. blue on gray this week.

It is now. Goodell is much stricter about uniforms than previous Commissioners.

Dallas usually wears white at home, and on Thanksgiving I think both teams can wear dark of I'm not mistaken

Only if they're throwbacks...and that exception applies any time throwbacks are worn. Thanksgiving is just the popular time to do it, that's why I initially predicted we'd wear them on Turkey Day. I didn't even think about saving them for just home games (good move).

i think both teams can wear dark if both teams are wearing throwbacks. thanksgiving games should be exempt from the twice a year rule.

otherwise, we wear our throwbacks 11/4 vs carolina and 12/3 vs ny - and unless i'm wrong about thanksgiving (dark/color jerseys only allowed for both teams if both teams are wearing throwbacks), then we will be wearing white in dallas.

As of right now, 4 teams are rumored to be making uniform changes in 2013.

Jacksonville, Miami, Minnesota, and Tampa Bay.

No leaks yet, but new apparel/merchandise designs have been put on hold for now, which is the same process that was done last year with Seattle and Carolina before changing logos and uniforms.
