Literally the first I'm hearing of this show... Aside from Sunday night football, NBC isn't ever on in my house.

I liked the Following at first but then it got cheesy. Now I see it is on Friday nights which is a show killer.

Bates is actual pretty darn good.

Good calls on Vikings and Bates, fellas- caught up on both after the recs here.

And Hannibal is surprisingly effective. I can't believe this show is on NBC... The production value seems way too good for network. Killer score, no pun intended.

Either his attempt at an American accent or just the general tone of his voice makes me think he's mid-yawn every time he talks. It annoys me greatly.

I've watched two episodes of Bates Motel and have the others on my dvr but I find it pretty boring so far.

I enjoyed the first two episodes of Hannibal much more.
Visually it's pretty amazing for a network TV show and I think the acting from the main characters has been top notch.

Which characters does she play?

Vera Farmiga is going nuts on Bates haha.

Now that I googled it I might be wrong.
She plays Bradley on Bates:

I didn't catch her character's name on Hannibal last night but I don't think she'll be appearing again.

I've just finished the first season of 'Rectify,' the new show from one of the Breaking Bad producers. Was hooked from the beginning, but be aware that the pacing/tone is much different than BB. Some of the dialogue really gets under your skin.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

i didn't think vikings was over yet. it's had 9 episodes so far.

the BBC does a lot of 3 and 6 episode seasons, which is nice compared to lost's 248 recap episodes once they ran out of ideas.
