its just an excuse for movies to make more money, by charging a higher ticket price.

Rumor right now is that the reason why Saw 7 is in 3D, is to give it more of a chance to match revenue with the blockbuster Paranormal Activity 2. Every Saw movie since Saw 4 has lost money at the box office each year.
Like I said earlier about 3D, it's not even in the same BALLPARK has it was back then. Sure, some do it gratuitously, but it really does have some value if done right.

Really the 3D looks to me just as shitty as 1985, maybe a bit better but definitly the same ballpark. I have even seen Avatar in IMAX 3D.

3D is just the new gimmick studious have come out with or I should say brought back.

Now when you can completely immerse me in hologram then come talk to me.

I definitely want to see that as well. Idc if it was in 3D or not, I just like watching them do hilariously stupid stuff.

I used to love the show Jackass, but I haven't seen any of the movies. Their act just got tired to me.

3D is the shit ! Or at least having a 3D TV is the shit. I've got a PS3 and that along with the 3D TV, I've found a way to enjoy it. I don't have any movies yet but A Christmas Carol, Alice in Wonderland, and probably any game (because I downloaded MLB 3D's demo) will be pretty cool. Apparently NFL Network is supposed to do something with 3D or at least that's what the guy at The Big Screen Store told me. Who knows, but it isn't all that bad.

The wife is watching "Green Zone" right now. I watched the first 30 min and had to stop. I.m not saying that it is not a good film but it angers me.

If you have Netflix you can stream this now.

Probably one of the best Docs I have seen in awhile. It is such a train wreck!

YouTube - You gotta kill a cow to get that beef or what, buddy?
A scene from the movie

Nope this weekend we are going to float a couple of witches instead. It's more entertaining.

I can't believe someone else has seen gummo. I just watched that writer/director's latest movie called [no, I'm not making this up] "Trash Humpers." Yeah, it's as bad as it sounds.

I watched this Aussie flick called "Animal Kingdom" over the weekend. One of my top two films of the year.

Back to movies, did anyone see Unstoppable? I'm kind of interesting in seeing that

I watched Funny People last night. Well I watched the first 15 minutes and it didn't hold my attention at all. I shut it off

If the first 15 minutes did nothing for you then you made a VERY wise decision. Some friends told me I would love that movie but they were way off. I liked the first half but it goes down hill quickly and then just drags for another hour or so. I think Judd Apatow knows how to make a funny flick but that man needs to hire a better editor or something.

I have not seen Unstoppable yet but I am very interested in seeing it. Some parts of it were shot in a small town close to where I am. A few people form work are in the movie as extras. So it will be pretty neat to see the cranky quality inspector at work dressed up as a cop in the movie...
