Re: The Sam Howell Thread
EB gets some credit for developing a 5th rounder in his first year starting no doubt.
There are legit gripes to have with the way he’s coordinating the offense as a whole, but I think Sam’s growth is a big plus on EB’s resume. |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I like Sam but even when he has a good game you can tell he is someone you can win with but needs a team around him. Reminds me of a Prescott, Cousins, Goff kind of QB.

Seriously I think our skill position players on offense are pretty solid, we just need to rebuild that offensive line.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
That's what I would prefer too although I am not as sold on the skills position as you.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
My gut says, roll with Howell and get the LT in this draft. But, I'll have zero issue with a new GM taking their shot. You don't get to draft in the Top 5 often.

We aren’t getting a top 5 pick … we will screw that up and beat the Jets 😀
1-Bears via panthers 1-11 lock number 1 2-Pats 2-10 Pitt,kc,den,buf,jets lock number 2 3-Cards 3-10 bye,49ers,bears,phi,sea. 4-13 4-Washington 4-9 bye,rams,jets,49ers,dall 5-12 5-bears4-8 det,cle,arz, atl,GB 5-12 6-giants 4-8 GB,NO,Phi,Rams,Phi. 4-13 7-jets 4-8 Hou,Mia,wash,den,NE 4-13 This is my prediction we get at best 7th pick if we beat Jets in a meaningless game .. we can’t even win at losing 😀😀 |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Sam needs a better OC, a better scheme and a better line. I think a better OC will get guys open more. This gun drop back stuff isn't good for us.
Meanwhile I watch Kyle getting his guys open. McCaffrey catches passes downfield. Why isn't Gibson doing that? 🤔 Purdy running boots for a td pass. Very creative stuff by Kyle and also McDaniel. Sam just doesn't have that right now. Look what happened to Tua when Flores got fired. He got w/ the right guy and the rest is history. I still think Sam is the guy. He has been dealt a bad hand. |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I think they are ok to good at parts, sub par at others, we dont have that elite offensive weapon that defenses have to account for at all times, which is why if somehow when we pick and Marvin Harrison Jr is there and we take him and then upgrade the OL with the 2 second rounders and FA I wouldnt be upset
