Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

There are reports that R* doesn't want people to do the 8gb install for the 360, apparently it's messing things up. I'm not sure what it is since I'm on PS3 but just check the internet before you do it.

Edit: I typed this post like 1/2 hr ago, just got around to hitting submit. You guys are on top of it.

I went to the midnight release last night and picked up my copy, and played it for an hour this morning before I went to bed. It's legit. The whole city feels alive in a way that IV wasn't. Sooooooo many cars, and car customization is back, along with weapon customization. So much variety in things to do, there's no way this isn't head and shoulders above IV. R* definitely did it right this time.

5 years in the making and a budget of $260M, it better be legit LOL

Seriously though Rockstar always knocks it out of the park.

Makes you wonder if they dragged out PS4 and Xbox 1 releases just because of this game.

It's a big day.

Can I download it directly from Xbox live like I did with SR4?

Naturally the day it comes out I end up working 11 hours lol. Honestly I'm having a hard debate here after getting 3 hours of sleep last night, should I go home and spend a few hours having a blast, or should I actually get a good night's sleep so I'm not sleepwalking at work all day? Decisions.

Maybe in a few weeks.

It's going to be a massive download might as well buy the discs IMO.

Ya that's what I'll do I think. Wanna get the whole VIP package anyways. I still use my R* gym bag from the GTA IV set lol. Besides I'm halfway thru SR4 so that'll keep me busy til the mayhem dies down.

Doesn't sound like much of a decision to me.

So is it worth buying now or would you reccommend waiting?

Looks like no one at Rockstar is going hungry.

Not a bad return on investment.
