Not sure he'd sign up for a scenario where he doesn't have total control though.
He's kinda old to be holding out when only 1 job is left.

Gonna throw a name out there, Pete Carroll? I'd take him over BB to be honest. And def. for sure over Dan Quinn.

If it was going to be Quinn what's the holdup? Hire him already. That's what makes me think he's not option #1 right now.

Weaver has an interview lined up for the DC job in Miami, they could be waiting on a decision from him.

Spin it however you want ; it’s fairly obvious the commanders didn’t get their guy and are now shifting through the dumpster in hopes of a uneaten dinner roll to call head coach

Different day same shit

I’m not buying that Peters was all in on Johnson and now that he fell through he’s flailing around aimlessly with no plan

Remember he is new at this. He's never hired a coach has he? Nope.

Glenn or Weaver, Weaver or Glenn. Unless it's someone out of leftfield, those are the only 2 guys that I have any interest in.

I'm not buying that either. Nothing has changed with regard to Washington and San Diego being the best destinations for a GM and HC this off season. It was that way in the beginning - which is why we have Adam Peters - and it's still the case for Washington.

It's entirely possible their #1 candidate after all the 2nd interviews is still out there, and the other candidates had to settle for other jobs, because they didn't get the job they hoped for in Washington... or in some cases they just weren't ready for it, and had momma call the pilot to relay the message that he couldn't come out of the basement for another interview until next year.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread

8 of the last 10 SB winning coaches were on their 2nd stint as HC

Only McVay is a true virgin coordinator who has won it all first go around
