So I don't know, I can't get into The Wire. Maybe because I compare it to Homicide (probably my favorite drama of all time) and I don't see how The Wire is better

On the other hand, just started season two of The Shield. Loving it

i had the same problem. the first 5 seasons of homicide are just better television. the only bad thing about homicide was that it was in baltimore and not LA, so it was hard to keep talent on this side of the country. good actors and good writers were replaced with average ones and the last two seasons were pretty meh.

I find myself trying not to miss the new episodes of "Impractical Jokers" on Tru-TV.

Betty White's Off Their Rockers is similarly funny.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

Its not new, but I flew through the 2 seasons of Archer on Netflix. I haven't laughed that hard at a TV show in a long time. I'm in love.

I know they're on season 4 right now. But I was wondering if there was anywhere to watch Season 3? Other than going out buying the DVDs.

I could do without the over-wrought psycho babble BS.

I also think if they try and do the murder of the week thing its gonna suck. Good shows treat each episode like a piece of a puzzle...not all pieces are the same shape or size.

I thought it was FANTASTIC! It was like a movie - great acting, cool plot, and plenty of room to grow. I know it was just one episode, but I highly recommend it.

I watched most but not all, and thought that it was very well done as well.
