At this point these writers need something to write about, saying CHI picking Williams with the first pic is not click bait but its the realty

What I don't like about his highlights and he doesn't make the tape himself, is most of them aren't just straight drop-back throws from the pocket. They mostly have him moving around before throwing it. That's a great skill to have, but in the NFL, most of your throws need to be direct pocket passes.

I was listening to an interview Kevin Sheehan did on 980 with someone associated with USC. They were saying that he had one of the worst lines in D1 football so I would like to know how much of that is preplanned to compensate for that. Still he has to be able to show he can throw from a pocket.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread

i wish there was some Madden like stat that showed percent chance of being a franchise QB

Example:
CW 90%
DM 82%
JH 79%

Then you could say is it worth trading the farm for an 8% chance CW will be your guy for the next ten years

I mean i guess true nfl scouts kind of have it in their heads; i guess i just like to know what they think those percent's are

You gotta take your shot if he is your guy and within striking distance.

We trust the decision makers right?

That's how I feel. Personally I wouldn't but that is because I'd be to chicken shit to do it. Adam Peters is Lenny Dykstra I'd be Billy Beane

If you think someone is the next Mahomes you’d be crazy to not do everything you can to get him.

Yes but then why wouldn't the Bears draft him? If they trade out of that pick there would havd to be serious doubts still.
