Agree, and the characteristic it most embodies now is a pussified can't play through pain mindset.

Re: Pats massacre pre game
Pats are patties playing a cupcake schedule so far. Their D has gone up against the Steelers, Phins, Jets and Bills.
I think we pop the top off this defense. Skins 23 Patsies 27 ----------------- That time Matt Millen punched the Patriots GM in the head. edit- link that explains the story, pretty interesting read. Starring Al Davis, Howie Long and Matt Millen .. and the dude who got punched in the head. https://deadspin.com/history-lesson-...patrio-5901978 |

Re: Pats massacre pre game
We've had and let go (either terminated or failed to retain):
- Marty Schottenheimer - Jon Schneider - Sean McVay - Louis Riddick (listed for fame more than capability) - Kyle Shanahan - Champ Bailey - Brad Johnson - Trent Williams?

Re: Pats Pregame Thread
Can Gruden be fired before the Pats game for this decision????
Keim had an article about how the Skins screwed up the offseason from the start by not firing him in January. He is dead on. |

Re: Pats Pregame Thread
Yep. Bruce and Dan just don't do any thinking about organizational dynamics. At all.

Re: Pats Pregame Thread
Keenum was in a walking boot up until the other day and Haskins is way too green. I dont get the infatuation with starting Haskins. Hes not ready, he started 14 games total in college and all indications are he is a project.
Doesnt Jay have an obligation to the other 52 players to start the QB that gives the team the best chance to win? If Jay thinks that is Colt for week 5, he starts Colt. If in week 11, he thinks Haskins, then he starts Haskins. Im going on record as predicting all 3 of our QBs will get hurt and miss games this year and soon enough Haskins will have to start bc there is no one else. |

Everything is so ass backwards with this organization. It should be: pick GM then GM picks HC then GM and HC pick QB. Give GM, HC and QB 4 years to figure it out. Instead owner picks QB then has to find a HC who will agree to commit to a QB he didnt choose. Oh and .. the owner sucks at identifying and picking winning QBs so there is that. Why are we blaming Gruden for any of this shit show? Because he is taking a lot of crap for protecting the young man from a slaughter and trying to remain committed to the work and sacrifice the other 52 players have put into this year. It blows my mind how the majority of fans are putting this pile of heaping shit at Jays front door. Jay is helping and protecting this young man. He is not ready. He is not where close to being game ready. |

Re: Pats Pregame Thread
I'm assuming this is Colt McCoy's job until at least the bye week now that he's healthy. I can see them turning it over to Haskins then, unless this team still magically has a chance to get into the post season. Nothing earth shattering here.

Re: Pats massacre pre game
Oh, and I read an article this am about how Perry Fewell has revitalized the Panthers' secondary. Now sure how far you want to go back, but we could add Antonio Pierce and Ryan Clark to the list. Graham Gano has had some good seasons too, as did David Akers.
