You summed it up.

We are fairly healthy on defense and the teams you mentioned would hang 35 on us if they were having a bad day.

Anger has turned to disgust which is starting to turn to apathy.

In other words, the typical season.

This is what I have been saying all along. We can't content for a championship w/ this current group. All we'll be doing for the next few years, best case scenario is topping out at 9-7, one and done in the playoffs. I'm just tired of it. I think the Smith trade just sucked the life out of me.

1) We know this defense is way better than what they showed last week, and they reacted very well after being humiliated by the Saints. So I hope they come out angry and hungry, and create turnovers, which Fitz can give you even without a lot of pressure.

2) Mike Evans is big and tough, Jackson is fast, but this receiving corps is nowhere near Julio, Sanu and Ridley. Fitzpatrick is not Matt Ryan, and Peyton F'nin Barber is nowhere near Telvin Coleman.

3) The run game didn't get going last week mainly because of missed blocking assignments. I'm not saying Bergstrom and Christian are even close to Scherff and Moses, but apart from a couple of plays they were not getting embarrassed the way we thought they would. So after a week of practicing in whatever starting line up they'll be, they should be able to do at least enough to give AP a chance to carry this offense on his back.

4) F' it, sip of Kool Aid, Burgundy glasses on, Skins 21 Suckaneers 13, HTTR !

I don’t agree this defense is way better than they showed last week. They have shown That they are good against the run, but wilt against teams with high powered passing attacks.
While Fitz is no Matt Ryan,he leads NFL in ypa,and he is playing pretty damn good this year.
Bucs can’t run the ball and we have shown that we are good at stopping the run, so I doubt if the bucs even try that hard to run against us,would you?
Tampa is 8th in scoring,we are 25th,Alex Smith cannot win in a shootout with Fitzmagic.
If, and that’s a big if, this patchwork offensive line can somehow come together and get Peterson 100 yards and we can control the clock then we have a chance, if not I think this could be another blowout we cannot stop their passing attack (of course with Fitzmagic, there’s always that chance he will be Fitztragic and throw 4 interceptions, lets hope)

I saw "nutcracker" and I thought about the old school nutcracker football drill, that would never be done during a season. I thought someone was calling Gruden out for risking player's health.

Meh...things like this don’t bother me. Josh isn’t the problem with the team.

Lol. Our QB is garbage. I miss the offense we had with Cousins and McVay.

Moving on to Fitzmagic

Anyone wonder what Snyder, Allen, and Gruden are thinking watching McVay in LA? It reminds you of the Browns and Bellichek

Re: Moving on to Fitzmagic

One key thing Atlanta did last week was to neutralize our best defensive players by double-teaming our good young defensive linemen. Look where most of our pressure and sacks have come from this season. It was a good plan by the Atlanta coaches and it worked, so I would expect to see more of the same from Tampa Bay this week.

Re: Moving on to Fitzmagic

Also, last week Atlanta ran more uncalled illegal pick plays than I've ever seen. So, this week the Redskins defensive players need to take matters into their own hands and knock the living crap out of any receiver who comes inside to pick them. One or two knockout blows should handle that problem.

The opening performance is in the middle of week 14.

I have no idea if it is a big deal or not important at all but I don't think it helps win a football game.

On the other hand smart players and coaches test the waters and see what they can get away with when it comes to pushing the boundaries of the rules and adapt accordingly.
