Re: Bittersweet post game thread.
It is obvious that Doctson has a superior skill set. I don't give a damn about practice and what not. Against SF put his ass out on that field and he only comes out when he's tired. Draw up 10 or so plays where you get him the ball. If they want to play Grant I'm fine with that, frankly he's kind of earned playing time, but you rotate him with Pryor or Crowder, not Doctson. It ain't that hard.

Re: Bittersweet post game thread.
Speaking of, I can't tell if Crowder disappeared on offense because he's not playing well enough, or if the defense is taking him out of every play because he's our most consistent threat. But it feels like Cousins isn't even giving him targets.

Hmm . . . If we can't get it done vs. SF at home after a bye week than I don't like our chances to make the playoffs. Also, it will be very demoralizing to a team that believes that they are close to playing at an elite level. So I'd predict no better than 8-8 after a loss. That said, it is definitely not a "must win". If we win out in the division the rest of the season it won't matter much, and we have other "weak" opponents in the schedule. We could make up for it by beating on of the tougher teams like the Broncos or Seahawks. Losing to SF may be a wake up call that sends them on a winning streak... Bottom line is, through 4 weeks this team looks like a winning franchise. It looks better than we have in decades. We beat 2 tough opponents and nearly beat 2 others, one of which is potentially the best in the NFL right now. If we come out and play like we have we will beat SF. If we don't, and we lose, than it will be the same old crap we've seen for 2 decades; an average team that sometimes shows up and sometimes doesn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Bittersweet post game thread.
What is the argument for Perine getting snaps and Brown is inactive? I was looking at PFF...Perine is rated absolutely terrible. He needs to hit the bench and watch.

I guess technically no game is a must win until you have 6 losses. As 10 wins usually always gets you into the playoffs.

Re: Bittersweet post game thread.
Yeah he needs to be inactive/PS rest of season. He just aint ready. Brown has earned a shot to play.

Only because if we can't beat SF we cannot beat anybody. Lol. Let's say Cousins, and like five other starters got knocked out in the first quarter just for that game and they did wind up beating us .... no at 2-3 our season would not be over. |

Hoping two weeks. We can beat the bye week and SF without him. Technically that is three weeks until we need him. We are a damn good team. I have totally done a 180 with my thoughts about these guys. After what I have seen I would say we win 11 games. HTTR. |

Re: Bittersweet post game thread.
Idk man, the 49ers have that Garcon guy at wideout who's more or less the 2nd coming of Jerry Rice, I don't like our odds without Norman.

Re: Bittersweet post game thread.
It looks like the injury to Norman is MUCH worse than originally thought....
From Butker's field goals send Chiefs to 29-20 win over Redskins (Oct 02, 2017) | FOX Sports INJURY REPORT Norman left in the second quarter with a rib injury and could miss several ribs... (Sorry I haven't learned to format yet.) |
