Redskins mistakenly issue $40,000 check to ex-Redskin

Can't say that I would give it back either.

banking error in your favor, collect $40,000.

I don't know what the legal precedent is, but if they gave him the money without a contract, i'd guess that it'd be considered a gift with no legalese tied to it. maybe JR has some idea. either way, i don't blame him for keeping it.

The Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Sam Bradford have agreed to a two-year, $36 million deal, including $26 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Quarterback Sam Bradford agrees to two-year deal with Philadelphia Eagles

well .. eagles arent doing us any favors. 18 mil per w 72% guaranteed.

ppl who will compare every future QB signing to Brady's is going to be soo fucking annoying.

that deal is terrible. bradford just isn't good. normally i'd be happy, cause f the iggles, but when we've got a QB to sign, that's an awful comparable.

I'd advocate resigning him for at least a two year deal if he is resigned to be a career backup.
I doubt he has a lot of other options at this point.

he still thinks he's a starter, so he'll come back, but only if there's not an offer with more playing time out there.

Re: NFL things and stuff.....

I think it's crucial to get McCoy back under contract. I always agreed w/ Joe Gibbs as he believed that the 2nd most important guy on your team is the backup QB. McCoy runs the offense pretty well and my guess is this is the best place for him. There is no market out there for him to be a starter.

The Rams have got to be the most mediocre franchise no one is talking about. And I'm still amazed that Jeff Fisher has and will continue (apparently) to have a job. Kroenke is making Snyder look like a model owner.

Re: NFL things and stuff.....

I guess anyone could point to Flacco and say, "Ayyy, well he DID win a Super Bowl." but I just never saw him make any throws and be like, "Wow, I'm blown away." Before his offensive line aged, I remember watching him sit back there, make a sandwich, toast the bread, wait for it to cool down and then the seven minutes later his receivers had to get open, he'd throw the ball.
