Re: Newberry
he could play SS, TE (though i doubt it, blocking and hands arent his strengths) OLB, FB, or ILB (gibbs said he thought more ILB cause he's supposed to be really smart)... he played OLB in college because the personnel they had for that position sucked, but he also played FB i believe.

Re: Round 7: Nehemiah Broughton, Jr., FB Citadel
I think ALL of our day two picks are projects to play special teams while waiting to see how they do at RB/FB/H-B/TE etc... (ILB for both LBs, though one ALSO played FB in college too)

Re: ILB Robert McCune
Hell I saw that guy on Total Access, and I just want to say Hell Yeah. Im extatic about getting him in there. The military background, size and speed...who cares how old he is. He's still younger than Barrow. Football players arent ancient at 30. I think that guy was a steal and I can't believe we got him. He left an impression on me when NFLTA was showing film on him. Wow. That made my day.

Re: ILB Robert McCune
I like the picks of rogers and mccune............but would've preferred a DE instead of 2 FBs......but joe has a plan........at least I hope so..........

Re: ILB Robert McCune
I think I will buy a McCune jersey. Hopefully he gets #54 like he was in college. Clifton Smith will just hand it over after he tells him he will snap him in half it he doesnt.

Re: ILB Robert McCune
I think we really picked up one goal line and short yardage HB in addition to one FB rather than two FB's. The kid from UCLA carried the ball quite a bit and didn't do much blocking. The kid from the Citadel seems to be a monster blocker.
