Full quarter to go. Falcons could hit 70 points.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 3

I've never seen a ass kicking like this in my life. Even the Patriots thumping of us wasn't this bad. 56-0 and not even the fourth quarter.

God, I had blocked that from my memory. Tell ya what though, anyone who remained a Skins fan after that game was in for life.

The game is complete, Jim Nantz just mentioned the famous Dick Shiner.

What's so bad about taking things literally?

Logan Mankins' contract will give him $6.5 million in salary this year, and $7 million each of the next two years. He's probably worth that, though perhaps a little less would be more prudent, but that's the salary the Bucs are stuck with.

Show the Freaking Score Rant - By: Dirtbag59

I am TIRED! Of trying to get a peek at the score of any given game when I'm not watching from minute to minute and the score isn't on the screen for something like 2 minutes. I can understand it during a commercial break but my God when there are no commercials show the freaking score.

I guess when they came back from the Devin Hester record setting TD they showed the crowd cheering and Hester acknowledging them for like a minute, then they showed Deion at the game, as well as Billy 'White Shoes/Shirt' Johnson dancing then back to Hester. About 20 seconds later the Falcons kicked off and they finally showed the score as 35-0 at the time.

I just wanted to get a quick look at the score and get back to some things I was taking care of. FML

At the time in question I was away from my 4 computers and my phone. About 1 minute in I was thinking 'I really want to check online now but I'm way to invested in getting the damn TV to show me the score.' 1 minute later I had it.

I have alot of respect for Joe Gibbs but one of the things i remembered was when he had his press conference a few days before the game - and he stated that playing the patriots was the biggest challenge of his career - i knew we were really screwed but i had just hoped the beating was not humiliating. unfortunately it was. i believe both backup QB's for the patriots ran and threw for TD's. Although one thing i still remember was Hoody still calling for passing plays late in the 4th quarter when the game had been over basically since kickoff...

Jason HERP DERP Cambell with 3 fumbles that game. I'm so glad that clown is gone, and I wished the fans that continued to make excuses for him would have gone as well.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 3

Okay back to current football. I hope people realize that the Bucs are THAT bad. I think Atlanta has a good team, but I'm sure a lot of people are going to overreact to this beating.

Unless things drastically change, I think Carolina may take the NFC South.

I wish people would stop talking about this guy in general. Get over it.

yes and gibbs afterwards didnt utter or even imply one bad word about the pats. he said it was on us to stop them. i was mad at the time but when gibbs said that it changed my perspective. you just got your tail whipped, you dont go blaming and pointing fingers at the other team, this is the nfl, you point the finger at where it belongs .. on yourself.
