I so read this as one of your "hint/clue" post.

I was thinking now is a Raven/Crow a migrant bird and which Raven is he talking about.

LOL! Thanks for messing with my mind.

Re: 2012 Free Agency Wish List

Just read a Tweet by Matt Williamson that the Dolphins are going to the 4-3 defense...

"Matt Williamson
Talked about it on today's podcast, but #Dolphins going to 4-3 makes no sense at all to me. Have to Solai will then leave in free agency"

I think Soliai (who should be a UFA) would be much better at the NT position. If Carriker leaves, then put Soliai at DT, and have a rotation of Cofield, Jenkins, and Bowen at DE. Also, those three guys could be our pass rushing DL on 3rd and long.

Forget Eddie Royal and just draft Chris Rainey.

Jon Bon Jovi? I think that Royal is a better WR than Hester and Hester is the better WR. I don't see why we won't sign Royal and draft both Rainey and Criner. A core of:

Jabar Gaffney
Leonard Hankerson
Eddie Royal
Chris Rainey
Niles Paul
Aldrick Robinson
Jurion Criner

Yeah it's 7 WRs and I think Robinson ends up being odd man out.

You can never have enough talent along the DL and Soliai would be a natural fit in our 3-4 at NT and DE.
If we sign Soliai and add him to a front 3 of Cofield and Bowen that would create a front 3 with the potential to be dominant.
Then throw in Jarvis Jenkins as part of the rotation we would go 4 deep of quality 3-4 DL.
Soliai would be my number 1 FA target.

With that lineup, which is great by the way, I see no point in having Royal. Criner might be a better prospect than Hankerson. Gaffney, Hankerson, Criner, Niles Paul and Rainey. Rainey is your kick/punter returner, a slot guy and a guy getting touches out of the backfield.

I would strongly suggest drafting both Criner and Rainey. We need weapons and both those guys qualify.

Even then I would still brin in Royal. I don't see Gaffney being here two more years.

Hankerson
Criner
Royal
Rainey

could rival

Jennings
Nelson
Jones
Driver

or

Nicks
Cruz
Manningham
Barden

or

Colston
Henderson
Moore
Meachem

Who is "our QB"?

Can John Beck make those guys into an elite WR corps? Personally, I do not think so...

Can Rex Grossman? I do not think so ...

Can Caleb Haine? No.

Can Drew Brees or a healthy Peyton Manning? You bet your butt.

Kyle Orton? Quite possibly.

Chad Henne? Possibly.

Until I know who "our QB" is going to be, I cannot answer your question.

During one of the Denver games that I saw this season, announcers reported that Royal is underutilized, underappreciated, and undervalued in Denver. His best season was under Shanahan, and evidently MS likes him.

Game announcers further reported that Royal was almost certain to consider a move to Washington. I have not seen enough of him to make an intelligent comment/evaluation of his skills, but I do believe that he will be a Redskin in 2012.
