Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
I wouldn't bring in D.Jax. He's got headcase written all over him, and I've had enough of headcase free agents bringing their talents to DC. The talent is not worth the headache, and I think that applies in his case. I wouldn't bring in Colston either, as aforementioned, those health problems scare me away. Ben Grubbs is someone I'd agree with, but who does he replace, Chester or Lich? I'd replace Chester personally, just stick him at a backup role, but for the money we're paying him I'd want him to take a pay cut, which idk if he'd go for.

As far as FAs, I'd be tempted to go hard after Rice or Forte

No more signing guys like Jackson and Bowe. Suck it up and deal with sucking until we find our own.

Lol it's an opinion more Redskins fans should have. We're going to suck regardless.

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
It all comes down to if we pick the right QB or not.

I think Tannehill is worth the risk if we can get him in the back half of the 1st round if RGIII is not available or goes back to school. Last edited by sdskinsfan2001; 11-13-2011 at 11:48 PM. |

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
After Luck it should be Barkley, this kid will be a great QB in the pro's.

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
In the top half of the draft, the team should target a QB, OT, and a S/CB. I just don't think this team is far away from turning it around. Right now, Shanahan is trying to shuffle guys around to see who's capable of stepping up but, it's also causing a disruption with team chemistry.

So no, even though they are great players. Forte I feel like if he got paid he'd be lazy anyway. And can you please Repeat what you said a few weeks back about how you heard that we are NOT interested in Matt Barkley, the QB from USC. Nor should we be since A) he's flat footed B) he's still young and needs another season to mature C) He's not that accurate D) he's playing with talent that makes him look better than he is E) he's a USC QB; they aren't your top QB's in the NFL, they're just solid (Sanchez-ok, Palmer-decent, Leinart-bust, Cassel-decent [didn't even play at USC])
