What would you prefer they do, ban scrambling QB's? Peyton Manning is just as affective as a scrambling QB, if you know how to run the offense right, plus its you D, thats gonna get you over..... not the offense. in my opinion

Well as I said, I think they made the whole accuracy thing to avoid this...or lessen it I guess...just like they made changes in all other aspects to the game to make it more accurate.

And I doubt Manning is much of a scrambling QB...I mean if you can juke defensive linemen with Manning in the game, well then you're damn good I guess.

Sorry, what i mean is Manning accuracy is just as affective as a scrambling QB, his passes or pin point, you know how to use him the right way, then, u just need a good D.

Re: Madden '10 xbox 360 league

I'm not a big fan of the running QB tricks but there are plays that you can make them pay for it. It's really easy to get QBs injured too so even if they do it for a couple of plays they'll risk his availability.

I've seen Brees be in full stride backwards and throw a forward pass to a receiver when he should have been sacked. It doesn't seem like Madden takes anything away for throwing in awkward positions.

People I play online always seem to throw the ball in the dirt just as I sack them without any intentional grounding calls. Really tough to get sacks due to this.

I think part of me wants to play a somewhat realistic game, and I feel the running QB tricks are just that...tricks. Heck, even when I do win I find them annoying, is like shit, play the game not a trick play every single time.

And how are you going to practice against a scrambling QB? If you've found a setting on Madden that lets the computer run the wildcat or scramble around all the time, then let me know.

When I used to play Madden '04 I think when Vick was on the cover and he used to murder me with Vick. He put up 100 points and racked up 1,000+ yards on me one time. Vick had 300+ rushing and 700+ passing. I was so pissed that day. It took me a while to figure out a way to stop him but I just used a lot of spy's and blitzes to flush him out. A lot of zone blitzes too. Gives me more defenders up front to stop a big run.....hopefully.

The "punishment" by the league : "It's like getting a ticket for going too fast on a road a week ago and they changed the speed limit today"

Re: Madden '10 xbox 360 league

Has anyone played a game where one team or the other gets a bad case of fumblelitis? I was playing online against someone who was using the Giants, and I think I stripped the ball 2 or 3 times...and it wasn't those hard tackles either. It was insane.

Re: Madden '10 xbox 360 league

I feel you on the 4th down calls.

While playing defense, I never do punt receive or punt block. I just pick a normal defensive play and try to stop the 4th down. It surprising how many guys still snap the ball and fake the punt when I'm running a dime flats defense.

These guys are always the first to quit and wonder why they are losing so bad...they never punt...it's obvious you're always going to be behind under those circumstances.

Seriously...I don't even know what referencing. What is being overthought.

I was identifying someone with the play that go on during online games. It was just a mere post describing the play of others online.

I don't know at which point you came away the idea that it was over thinking.

I can't wait to kick your ass on the field...kidding...kinda...80% kidding at least. If I lose our first game verse each other then 100% kidding.
