Re: What If...We Win?
I don't think he has the footwork needed to play LT but he could possibly be an adequate backup RT. At this point I would be willing to give him a shot. Has Philadelphia signed him yet?

Re: What If...We Win?
Not sure whether this was already brought up in the thread but when I think beyond this season I just think about everything the FO did to replace JC in the off-season. Ultimately I think that remains a goal...ditch JC and bring in whomever the FO falls in love with. Ok so even if Zorn miraculously extends his stay in Washington he'll probably start over w/ a new QB and who knows how that will go. I mean the one thing pretty obvious here is Zorn doesn't put anything together in a hurry i.e. it took him quite a while to bring JC up to speed in the WCO and we're still waiting for him to bring the rest of the offense around. Meanwhile Jason's bad old habits wrt ball control are creeping back, which then again make his return less likely still. So Zorn probably starts all over w/ a new QB (best case scenario if you really like the guy) and who knows where that leaves us...

Re: What If...We Win?
Zorn will be given more leeway because Snyder took a personal gamble promoting him to HC. I would imagine that Snyder would try to give Zorn more of a chance to make his (Snyder's) decision look good.
On the other hand, based on the off-season attempts to get another QB, if JC goes down and Collins comes in, and at the same time the offense gets better (as in a couple of years ago) they may keep Zorn (even if the record isn't so good) but ditch JC. |

Re: What If...We Win?
Well clearly, we would win the last 5 and beat the Giants in the NFC Championship game. I would go further and say we could win 7 games as we will beat Dallas 3 times, including the divisional games. Geez how could you not see that.

Re: What If...We Win?
Someone care to explain the Jerry Gray hype? Our secondary underperforms more than any other unit on the team. Give me a break. The only reason it was ever decent was because of the Meast and Springs

Re: What If...We Win?
Well they are ranked 11 out of 32 teams and last year 7th. I guess you have not been looking at our O or any of their stats over the past two years.

Some folks are part of an Avatar Mutiny to show their displeasure with the team. Others, such as myself, made vows or lost bets regarding their avatars. I'm glad my time in avatar purgatory is over! Mann rules!

Re: What If...We Win?
I must go back to the quarterdeck for today in support of my new role as starter above Horton. Doughty rocks!

Re: What If...We Win?
I agree with this. Although if he won the division and then lost the first game he would probably be safe. I feel bad for the players right now. Even if they blow out Tampa (which I think could happen but probably won't happen) everyone will say that we should have blown them out. There is so much negativity around the team that it would take a decent winning streak to calm things down. They are going to get booed at the beginning of the game and during if they struggle. If they lose all hell could break loose... |
