It's not the OL's fault. It's the same problem as last week. On the GL last week we ran a Stretch play that got blown up. This week we run G pull with Zone blocking. Problem is this, both plays require a LATERAL step by the OL, not straight ahead. The D is coming, full go, straight ahead, the OL is stepping laterally, the laws of physics apply...OL gets pushed backwards.

As I said last week, SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY. Line up in a GL set, overloaded to the right, I backfield. The D either plays straight and you have one-on-one mathcups with your strength on the left side of the OL with Samuels & Dock, and a 280lb, Pro Bowl FB leading the way. Or the D cheats to our left and we have numbers on the right and pound it in that way. Simple call to make at the line by JC. This way the OL is firing straight out and if we can't get a yard, that's on the players, not the coach.

Absolutely. Also, PA to the left and TE delay back to the right. This is basic stuff. One thing I think is pretty apparent, the Zone Blocking isn't working. We're not built that way, Portis isn't the same 205 lb, lightning quick back he was in Denver, he's bulked up and is a between the tackles & off-tackle guy right now.

Unlike my previous post stated, the Avatar Mutiny is voluntary. LOL. Although if you have an attachment to your avatars, that's understandable.

So back to the goaline play....didn't Zorn realize that the Lions would KNOW that they were going to run to the left???!!! I mean come on, you have freaking Chris Cooley on your team, let Campbell throw it to him!!

Even a moron like myself, who only played high school football and worked at Mcdonalds can see that our Defensive schemes this year are Vanilla Pudding! Soft and extra sweet!

Blache hates to be criticized and get very sensitive when anyone questions his scheme.

They guys is full of himself and boy do I miss Gregg Williams and His fire and Attack defense. It's disappeared. We can't get a pass rush and every time we blitz, it seems like everyone gets picked up!

Just saw the video myself and the one that really stood out was the one with Kelly Johnson and the players in the locker room. They are throwing themselves under the bus. Specially are two AWESOME CORNERS!!! (sarcasm)
