Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
Dear Redskin fans,
I can understand your excitedness over this year's wins especially the one over the cowgirls, but make no mistake..Reid and company will have an answer to JC's no-turnover season. Philly's D ranks first in sacks (17) and third in total ypg (245). There are also 5 fumbles recovered of 7. Im not stating who will win, but that sunday's game marks the beginning of JC turnovers. Some Note Worthies: 1. Some good match ups to watch are JJ vs. Juqua Parker (DE) and the reverse, Carter vs. Tra Thomas. Who will own who? 2. True, DeSean Jackson IS good for one bone head play sunday. But be honest, hasnt he performed better than most rookie WRs this year, if not most vets? 3. Buckhalter is no Westbrook. I needn't say more. Hurry up Sunday, we can't wait any longer. |

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
I actually think this game will be tougher then the Cowgirls game for these reasons.
1. It is hard to win back to back road games against quality opponents. 2. There is often some letdown after getting all hyped up to beat the girls and then going into their house and winning a close game and trying to keep that up the next week. 3. Philly is a tough stadium to play in. 4. This will be by far the toughest defense JC has faced and I am not sure our OL will be able to hold up which will require Portis and Cooley to help out and this could kill our offense. I think they will blitz the crap out of JC. I think this is going to be a fun game to watch and will come down to turnovers. If JC can handle the pressure then we will win. If they get to him, then it will be a long day. |

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
if the redskins can play as hard as they did in Dallas, they will win. that's what separates the winning teams from scrubs. every week they bring it

BAD NEWS, Springs may not play
The Associated Press: Springs appears unlikely for Redskins vs. Eagles Westbrook will likely play and Jason Taylor likely wont. This sure evens things up...this is gunna be an uphill fight

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
well i just played the eagles in my fantasy madden franchise and ben roethelsberger led the skins to a 21-0 win and maurice jones-drew had a big game as well. i predict an identical replica, but don't get too excited because calvin johnson will tear an abdominal muscle in the game too :/

Andy and the boys are mere pawns........Destiny, as the victory, resides with the Skins. And....don't forget to smell the roses HTTR

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
I would say Skins, but it looks like Westbrook is going to play and we are going to be without Shawn back there. Who is Shawn's backup? He is going to get picked on I bet. Other than that, I think we will be in fine shape to take the game. JT being out will hurt a bit, but nothing the other members of the crew can't handle. Westbrook isn't going to be 100% if he plays either. I am just bummed Shawn is out for such a big game. After the Eagles, the strength of schedule isn't so bad for a few weeks IMHO. He definitley could have missed the Lions game. but not this week!!!!!

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
I'm starting to question Shawn Springs' toughness. I'm sure I'll get bashed for this, but we REALLY need him to play this week. He already missed one NFC east game, and we paid for it greatly. I don't really trust Smoot starting this game.

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins
According to the fantasy experts, we are going to have a horrible week
Barber should bounce back in Week 5; TE Davis losing value fast He has Campbell as a Sit'em, Portis, Moss, and our D under the Sit'em category. In contrast, McNabb, Jackson, and their D as either Start'em or sleepers. We all know that this means nothing. Its like the guy on ESPN that told people to sit Larry Johnson last week. How'd that work out? |
