Compensation for Brandon Marshall being out this week, although Royal looks very spry.

At least Jaworski and Tirico cancel out that screaming idiot Kornheiser in the early game. No such luck here.
Yeah Mike and Mike and Mike are pretty brutal in the booth

D'Angelo Hall being D'Angelo Hall. 30 yards in penalties on this drive alone, and his mouth is running like a faucet. What an ass.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Golic and Greenberg have no idea how to compartmentalize their job duties. They have totally turned this into Mike and Mike in the Evening, with commentating on the game as a side note. It's become the "trash the raiders tv show," with Mike Ditka as a side analyst. This is totally lame. I don't like the Raiders, but this is bad broadcasting IMO.

He's the kind of player who's talented but is such an arrogant A-hole that he will break your heart with stupid penalties. I'm glad we didn't go after him.

I watched him in high school. He went to the same school I graduated from. Deep Creek High School. He cost us the state championship in Richmond by picking up a rolling punt to make up for getting beat on a pass. He fumbled, Centreville got it and scored. Of course the officials did'nt help any but I won't get in to that. We would'nt have gotten there without him, but he is pretty self-centered and arrogant.

Nope not at all.
I am reminded, instead, of the Broncos in 1997 when they went 13-3 and lost in the first round. But then went on to win 2 consecutive Super Bowls in the next 2 seasons.

Reminded of the Colts and Chargers, who have also had seasons with 13-Plus wins and lost in the first round.

I'm reminded of the Giants, last year, starting 0-2 and winning the super bowl. It's not how you start, it's how you finish.
