If we're keeping so much 'in house', how come AA wasn't a part of those in house conversations about his standing with the team? To be clear, I'm not saying Gibbs or Williams should be kissing Archuletta's a**. But he was brought here under the guise of being a very intregal part of the defense and then is relegated to riding the pine.

My issue with all of this, isn't really about AA or whoever, it's just that this seems to be a re-ocurring thing with the Skins. Personally, I hope he's gone next year.
I think he will be gone as well - the bridge has basically been burned - how could he work with the d coaches anymore? I think he will be a post June 1st cap cut. One interesting thing I have brought up before is somehting AA brought up in the Post article today dealing with safeties coach Steve Jackson has been miserable. I wouldn't mind seeing Jackson shown the door as well and put Jerry Gray in charge of the whole secondary.

the 10 million dollar signing bonus of TO came with 70+ catches, 12 TDs, and 1000+ yards with two games missed worked out ok, could of been better.

the 10 million dollar signing bonus of archuleta got you blow coverage, missed tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 sack and a hitter for special teams, which worked out terrible.
don't forget the one punt that was blocked because he blew an assignment!

He's right in a way...if the coaching staff has really been ignoring him like he says then that's pretty childish. Just look him in the eye like a man and tell him why he is not playing. I mean they have half a season of documented proof why he was benched. There was just no need for the childish were not talking to you attitude. Either way he's gone...it's just a matter of how they do it and how big the cap hit is.

I don't know ahat the big deal is about this interview. He just said that he wants to be told the truth no matter if it is good or bad and thats the end of the story. I don't know why people think its a comunication thing becasue what do you want the coaches to say to him with six games to play. Gibbs "hey AA I know you have sucked this year so after the season we are going to cut you but I hope you play hard the next six weeks when we put you in the game". Come on think about if your boss came to you and said he was going to fire you in six weeks. I'm sure you would work real hard at your jod known that.

Are you talking about the blocked FG? I think that was Jason Witten.

Maybe I'm confused...

No I was referring to the coverage missed by Archuletta against the Panthers....
"The first blocked punt came near the end of the half. Adam Seward got a hand on Derrick Frost 's attempt, setting up a 51-yard field goal by John Kasay that gave Carolina a 6-3 lead."
NFL.com - Carolina at Washington Game Recap

Seward was Archulettas responsibility on the punt.

Dallas cuts losers quick.

How many touchdowns does Brandon Llyod have along with spectacular catches that made Washington sign him?

Re: ESPN: Archuleta: 'I don't like getting lied to'

I think Arch may have been screwed, but there has to be some concrete reason. He mentions in the article he thinks he knows what it is or was, but doesn't elaborate. I have a new theory about Arch and I'm not sure if anybody said this yet. I think the guy could be a prime suspect if you were doing an investigation into who is using undetectable steroids such as HGH in the NFL. The NFL steroid poilicy has been a joke forever, but over the last year and a half the heat has officially been turned on. It's not so hot that guys aren't using, but I would bet many have stopped juicing because the time was right for them. In Arch's case he was going to get a big payday. So he stopd using and his elite speed completely vanishes. That's the one thing I noticed about him that seemed strange. He looked pretty slow and remember this guy at one time was really really nfl fast. How does that happen and don't tell me it's his stiff hips. Just a theory, but the guy has always been a workout warrior and that is a word that means buyer beware. Those are the types of players who have a history of a complete drop off in play and ability. Just a theory, but I can't understand how someone can get so bad so fast in the middle of their prime. It doesn't make scientific sense unless it's all about science in the first place and the guy has been hooked up with the right kind of trainer if you know what I mean.

I thought he was using sarcasm. Witten never should be blocking on a FG since hes not a good blocker at all.

On Comcast after that game, Sellers took responsibility for that play. Who was realy at fault? I dont like to go back and watch those types of plays over again, they were hard enough to watch when they happen.

No way, what happened was he slept with Greg Williams' wife. That's why he was benched. I don't have any evidence or anything, but it sure would explain a lot.

Well he was. And Troy Vincent blew by him because Witten was too busy celebrating his big catch the play before. Leading to the blocked FG attempted by Vanderjagt. And the Skins go on to win the game.

But that's not really relevant here since that wasn't what Bill B was referring to.
