Maybe some of you guys with the big yaps will think twice about making those comparsions after this baseball classic that USA announcers are expressing major disappointment at the loss because in their words - "no team was supposed to even come close to the USA team; let alone beat them" Hey, they sound like many of you people in this room. Take that boys.
Umm actually I am pretty sure that the USA was only slightly favored to win. Both the Dominican Republic and Venezuela have quality pitching staffs that an even out any offensive disparity. And being a guy brought up on baseball I can atest that a baseball game is much easier to win when you are outclassed skill wise than a football game is. Your point has no merit.

Re: CFL Versus NFL Game

How did the NFL vs. America Jr. thread get started again?

Like I said originally. Take any team from the College top 25 and they would dominate the teams in the America Jr. Football league.

Now pipe down and get your oil ready for us. Iran is threatening to cut production.

Umm I am pretty sure you are wrong. According to the ESPN announcers the USA were "heavily favored" and that the loss to Canada is a "major upset" By the way, only Americans would think that them losing at anything constitutes a "major upset"

I find it amazing (but, not suprising) that when I use the words "big mouth" old Grim21Reaper comes a running. Can you roll over and play dead as well loud mouth?

Re: CFL Versus NFL Game

you know that major leaguers are playing on every nation's teams right? not just the US team. I fail to see how a single baseball game has anything to do with the CFL though. I mea, your hockey team choked hard at the olympics, so obviously all your football players must be crap, right?

By the way, where the hell do you get off trying to convince anyone that baseball is much easier to win than football. Where did you get that idea from?

For your information. may of the CFL players are from the USA; therefore all your football players must be crap.

All you need to know about Canada is that their figure skaters had to cry and whine to get a gold medal.

Kurt Angle won one with a broken neck.

One more for the good guys....

I guess the most intelligent answer would be to say "Blow Me". In French that means "I have no answer for you because I worship a maple leaf".

I have come to accept that one has to fight fire with fire. So, when I am confronted by a bozo I have to resort to things that a bozo can understand. I guess I am just trying to fit in with you.

way to not read my post. the correct retort you'd actually be trying to make is "most of the CFL players play in the NFL" if you really understood it. that obviously isn't true. beyond that the cfl teams have a % that must be canadian anyways. nice try though.
