Usually films will say in their ratings if there's a rape scene in it which then gives you the option of going to see it or not. Shock films are meant to do exactly that.

The Human Centipede, The Hills Have Eyes (remake. Which was crappy honestly), Hostel series, Saw series. I mean all these things have gratuitous violence/shock. Although Saw may be in a category of its own because the overarching storyline of the entire series is actually interesting.

edit: Oh yeah, and Oldboy. Wanna be shocked. Watch Oldboy. Koreans are crazy man. But its probably one of the best movies I've ever seen. With a twist!
My friend keeps telling me to check that out, and it's been in my Netflix queue for awhile. I need to get on that.
