Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
Since the day of the trade I have been excited and I can't wait until the season starts, I'm telling you Alex Smith will bring wins and playoffs to this franchise, he WILL win a SB before he retires.

To a lot of people, I might just be the guy who went No. 1 in the draft. Or the guy who lost his job to Colin Kaepernick. Or the guy who helped turn a 2–14 Chiefs team into a back-to-back division champ … but then couldn’t put them over the top. And that’s O.K., I guess. But who am I, really? Honestly, I think I’m still figuring that out. I still haven’t found my boundaries as a player. I feel like the limits as to what I’m capable of — they’re still out there. And that’s what I’m working toward." Love this part. This man is coming here to achieve something.

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
Many did that for the former QB that shall remain nameless.

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
It's still a very respectable contract in my opinion. Especially with $71M of that being fully guaranteed. Averages out to be about $22M per year. It's a good contract all around in my opinion.

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
Cowherd says the Viks are "favorites" but just a month or so ago he said this
"If you have to pay Kirk Cousins $30 million a year, he won't help your team, he'll hurt it. Alex Smith comes in at $23 million, only $18 guaranteed. Forget the fact that Alex Smith has a better passer rating. In fact, Alex Smith led the NFL last year in passer rating." Dude is another clown

Are we just now realizing Cowherd is a clown? Cowherd has been a clown for as long as the Mannings have been slinging footballs.
