So who do we trade for in a year or two? Romo?

It is virtually a lock that our cap number is over 200 million this year!! lol

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

Mark Schlreth said something that I was thinking as well....John Elway did not win a SB until he got a consistent running game behind him and a good defense. In Philly under Reid/McNabb they were very one dimensional. Very little to no running game. That is a lot of pressure to put on a QB when defenses can cheat to defending the pass and not worry about the run.
If Shanahan can create an effective running game behind McNabb it could be a very good situation for all Redskinsland.

Won't be available. Osackpo is going to end his career by then.

It isn't if Shanny will create an effective running game, it is when...

Your first paragraph I can agree with, very reasonable.

Your Vinny conspiracy theory is just nutty. He's gone. Allen would never allow him to influence anything.

I may be off a little but after cutting all of those players and accelerating Haynesworth and Hall's deals we were sitting on a cap number of $179 million.

McNabb's contract in the current form is another 11 million.

Very true. Makes me feel a little better about McNabb in B&G.

Vinny is around the park. BA and Shanny want their cars shiny and clean for the ride home...

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

Perhaps we should consider picking up Westbrook now and trading JC for a left tackle.
I just dont think a trade for a LT if gunna happen due to depreciated value of Campbell.

I really don't agree that we should trade Campbell if all we get is a 4th or 5th rounder...he'd be a great backup...why not stick with him....or if we could trade him for a franchise FS or WR...that would be cool

Excellent point. That's one of the biggest potential bright spots for us. A strong running game -- assuming we can put one together -- is a component nobody has seen in conjunction with McNabb.

I'm still hoping for Brandon Marshall!!!! McNabb to Marshall! OK I'll stop dreaming.
I dont think u are dreaming, i think its going to happen. Imagine our 3 headed RUnning attack, Cooley at TE, Santana in the slot, and marshall at the #1. Jeez, I a beginning to think we could ake a serious run for the NFC title............

980 is reporting that 5 teams are interested. If that is true, he is going for higher than a 4th or 5th.
