Maybe he's just confused because he's been in six different systems since he's been a pro... There are a myriad of reasons the Redskins stink right now. Campbell may not be playing perfectly, but he's hardly the main reason for the 2-4 record. |

contrary to popular belief you don't have to score TD's just inside of the red zone... a few of these big passes that he's missing or never seeing could easily get us a score in the hands of thomas, kelly, etc |

Redskins' Campbell in tough spot following coaching shakeup "Borges isn't buying that Campbell can't run the scheme because the West Coast system is what he ran at Auburn when Campbell blossomed. However, Borges said he tweaked the offense to take advantage of the powerful run game and Campbell's big arm. So, instead of dinking and dunking horizontally and relying on timing and receivers to make yards after the reception, Borges implemented more play-action and vertical passing. "As much as we threw that underneath stuff, we could get it downfield," Borges said. "He could make all the throws; short, intermediate, deep. When he played in 2004, he played lights out. This kid threw almost 70 percent of his passes complete. What's phenomenal about it, his completions were over 10 yards an attempt. That's just not done. He's accurate. Matt Leinart won the Heisman at a 66 percent completion rate with a lower yards-per-catch." |

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
First off, lets count up his dumb ass decisions during games. Then lets look at the amount of times hes fumbled. Now, the interceptions, and while we are at it, how many fucking times does he have to bitch out and throw the fucking ball to the redskin fans in the stands??? Ya, our fans can catch better than Kelly and Randel El, but its not a completion.
Ok, now for this overblown statistic, which anyone who has actually watched the games this year can attest to. I guarantee that at least 35% of JC's passes are checkdowns, because he doesn't want to throw the ball downfield.......Checkdown, Checkdown, Checkdown, Checkdown.........JC is nothing more than an above average career backup, and its time these idiots running the team recognize this and start moving in another direction so our team can take a step towards achieving greatness, cause I can tell you right now, with JC at the helm, do not expect playoffs, and if you ever expect him to win a super bowl, you are just plain smoking some fuckin crack. Oh, I forgot.......Why don't I ever see JC yelling at his team???? Getting pumped up????Getting his team motivated?????? Being a leader????? I'll tell you why, cause he is a timid little pussified boy who cant take charge of a team, and you cant be timid in the NFL and be a leader. Bottom line. |

Right now this whole organization is a joke, and the problems are much greater than the starting quarterback. |

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
I'm done. I've been a Campbell apologist for the last 2 years. He lost me on the check down when he had Moss for a TD on the pump and go. Casserly's right. Campbell leaves huge plays on the field by checking down too early. Even worse, he has reverted to the fumbling turnover machine that he was two years ago. The protection has been adequate tonight. There have been plays to be made. I'm FINALLY willing to admit that Campbell probably never had "it".

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
Steve Young was trying to blame the tip at the line INT on Campbell. Unfortunately, he couldn't think of a word long enough to defend that position.
