I earnd kudos from my wife for making her watch this and she hates sports.
How did you not like Speed or Demolition Man? Those are cheesy action movie classics!

I don't like cheesy action movies except for the part where Sylvester Stallone was cursing into the ticket machine so that he could have some TP.

Saw Bruno and Gran Torino yesterday... thought Bruno was disappointing compared to Borat. Gran Torino was a decent flick, not great but good.

Saw The Book of Eli this past Saturday night. I thought it was pretty good. Definitely had some slow transitions, but overall, it kept my attention.

Saw Public Enemies the other night. Great acting. Not a great movie but worth seeing.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread

I saw There Will Be Blood the other night. I think I'm going to have to buy this movie. I loved it. The ending was so good. I laughed my ass off.

I also watched The Haunting in Connecticut. Normally ghost movies aren't my thing, but I heard this lady on Coast to Coast AM and I had to see the movie. It was scary and not too overdone until the end.
