Re: Coronavirus (non political)

Took a covid and antigen test on Thursday. Results not in yet. Was told this was a rapid test with results within 24 hours.

This needs to improve. I dont have any symptoms but was down in South Carolina going to restaurants etc and wanted to take one to be safe.

But ive been going to work etc while waiting my results. My parents visited on Sunday.

This needs to improve.

Covids been here for 10 months, we need true rapid testing if they are serious about curbing this.

I have a hypothesis on that. Restaurants limit seating and people are "aw shit got to start cooking for myself again" and need to stock up on toilet paper. My other hypothesis is that people are just bat shit crazy.

Emergency approval of Pfizer vaccination goes to FDA with 20 million to go out within the the next month.

Unbelievable and another example why this country is the greatest in the world while other evil countries release plagues upon the world and cover it up.

Bigly job by a lot of folks

COVID has my elevator protocol all messed up. I'm the hold the door open to where its almost awkward how long I wait guy. Now I just get in and go like it's a race. I feel like a bastard. Some people are probably like what an asshole and some people probably like it and want to ride by themselves.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)

My family decided to skip Thanksgiving this year and at this rate it's hard to imagine getting together for Christmas. Sad but it's just reality right now. Anybody else going the same route for the holidays?

I never travel for Thanksgiving. Me and my now-ex GF just do our own thing together. Still going to this year as well (amicable breakup). She lives by herself so makes it easy to avoid everyone else.

Still going home for Christmas unless my flight is canceled, which is a very strong possibility this year, especially in CA. Already mentally preparing myself to spend Christmas alone. That's gonna suck.

My in-laws live about 30 minutes down the road but they don't feel comfortable with us coming over so it is just the four of us.

I had a rapid test done and got the results in 15 minutes. Did you go to a DR or one of those free test sites. If you don't know those rapid test are not very accurate either. I found that out after the fact.

After last time I went on Amazon and ordered three boxes of TP and Two boxes of paper towels. I stuck them up in the attic so my wife wouldn't use them. She came home yesterday pissed that the three stores she went to was out. When I came down with the boxes she was happy we had some but pissed I didn't tell her.
