One has to think about it.

I gotta see Guice again. My mind goes back to that burst on the run where he got hurt against the Patriots. Can you get him into a screen on 3rd and long and see if he can play the Chris Thompson role?

My heart wants to believe Guice is all the best of CT and AD rolled into one.
Yes. He has been the best player on offense in 2 years.

Depends on injuries but I vote yes.

None of this matters without a pass game. Alex Smith cannot be the guy again. No way. No how.

Interesting point about Alex Smith by @RickDocWalker on @SheehanPodcast. "He's a little closer to RGIII than, I think, Coach ever imagined. And that's why, I think, we got a disconnect… By no means, in my opinion, is he a drop-back guy." Calls for JG to "move the pocket more."

This is what me, skinsinok, and possibly, a couple others have been saying re: moving the pocket.

Gruden needs to employ the same game plan as the Titans did against Dallas on MNF. I'm rather confident we could score between 24-28 points the remainder of the season doing such.

Cooley pod: "Trey Quinn and (Cam) Sims would both be active, they would both be starters right now, unless Jamison came back." STARTERS! Pretty sure Cooley hates Doctson.

Re: Moving on to Fitzmagic

After the Atlanta game I was very pessimistic about the upcoming one.

But as the week moves forward I've had a couple of thoughts that gave me hope:

1) We know this defense is way better than what they showed last week, and they reacted very well after being humiliated by the Saints. So I hope they come out angry and hungry, and create turnovers, which Fitz can give you even without a lot of pressure.

2) Mike Evans is big and tough, Jackson is fast, but this receiving corps is nowhere near Julio, Sanu and Ridley. Fitzpatrick is not Matt Ryan, and Peyton F'nin Barber is nowhere near Telvin Coleman.

3) The run game didn't get going last week mainly because of missed blocking assignments. I'm not saying Bergstrom and Christian are even close to Scherff and Moses, but apart from a couple of plays they were not getting embarrassed the way we thought they would. So after a week of practicing in whatever starting line up they'll be, they should be able to do at least enough to give AP a chance to carry this offense on his back.

4) F' it, sip of Kool Aid, Burgundy glasses on, Skins 21 Suckaneers 13, HTTR !

Fine is for losers. We need good not fine. And fine is being kind. When u have no arm strength and you are missing intermediate passes that is a problem.

I said this at the beginning of the season and was laughed at. Quinn or Sims would have been starting by week six.

Missing the intermediate passes is the biggest issue.

Re: Moving on to Fitzmagic

Anyway im so uninterested in this game it sucks. There is the koolaid drinkin me that says we can somehow manage to patchwork an o line and win the division and be in it to win it. But there is the smart me that knows wholesale changes need to be made from gm to hc and staff to qb if we want to really be true contenders. Like right now the Steelers or Pats or Saints or Rams would just laugh at us and treat us like children on the playing field. Hollow division championships and one and dones just prolong the inevitable. Who cares if we are the best of the worst? I want to be the fuckin best of the best again.

I will watch of course unless it gets ugly, I stopped watching last week at halftime. I don't waste my time with this anymore. My tolerance level has changed so much as I've gotten older
