Re: 34th Overall Pick
As long as it isn't a QB, TE, or K, I'll be happy.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
I think with a full salary cap I don't mind seeing the team taking the best player available as long as it is reasonable.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
I don't want to jump the gun here but I think we might actually get the 33rd overall pick, if memory is correct I remember hearing about later rounds the order being switched up at the top of the round. Maybe it's not a big deal, or maybe it's the difference between a bust and a HOFer. I'm hesitant to say it's true until I see the official 7 round order come out though.
Edit: We might have a chance, according to this nfl.com link the Jaguars (who picked 2nd overall last year) had the first pick in the second round. |

Re: 34th Overall Pick
1st round - Healthy RGIII for 2014
2nd round - best OL available 3rd round - best OL available 4th round - best OL available 5th round - best OL available 6th round - best OL available 7th round - best OL available This is only a slight over exaggeration! Our O-Line is atrocious and it's unwatchable at times. *edited to remove the redundancy of original post. Pointed out by this site's official editor in chief that posted below me.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
Between our draft picks and free agency I'd like to see AT LEAST 2 new starting O-Linemen, a new starting ILB, and a new #3 CB (Assuming Amerson is now a starter, and Wilson is gone, which he has to be).

Re: 34th Overall Pick
I think BPA is the way to go. But we must take advantage of the strength of this draft. The strongest parts of the draft will be OT and WR. Taking a stud OT that falls out of the 1st round would anchor our line across from Trent. We do desperately need another WR across from Garcon. D Adams, K Benjamin, J Mathews, or D Moncrief are all names to consider. This draft seems very weak at DL, maybe waiting until the 3rd/4th for a McCullers would be smart even tho I think our DE position needs a serious upgrade. As far a BPA goes is a Sefari-Jenkins at TE falls is be hard pressed to pass on such a potential stud who can not only catch the ball up the seam but can also block, thus improving our OL while simultaneously adding a weapon for RG3. A few small school studs who will surely rise through the draft process I will do a later post on with more info but for people to keep their eyes on are:
Pierre Desir CB Lindenwood Billy Turner OT North Dakota State Joe Don Dunkan TE (can't remember school name right now) |

Re: 34th Overall Pick
I always like BPA approach to the draft, but we can't waste this pick on RB, FB, QB. And it'd be wise to really focus on OL given our lack of quality there.
