Our defense is still dealing with the mental side of making a tackle.

If Joe Webb could rip apart our defense-- which was better in 2011 than our defense is right now--why can't Pryor who is more athletic and looks more like a QB? Also, why would we think anybody playing us can't beat us? The only team in the NFL I would go into a game saying "We can stop them," is Jacksonville. Oakland has some good players on their team--a lot of them are better than our starters. They also lost to Denver by 2 scores in Denver. I think we'll be very lucky to lose to Denver by 2 scores.

See how much he's saying when he's placed in a one on one situation with a full speed Alfmo because thats what his d-line leaves him with.

Pryor probably will not play, short week very intense concussion protocol and that tweet he did suggests he should sit out

I pretty much agree with this
If Flynn starts we have a chance.Pryor starts our defense can not handle it.
Pryor looks as good or better than RG3 did last yr AS FAR AS EXTENDING PLAYS with his legs.He has almost 200 yards rushing in 3 games, our d just cant handle that right now.
Were catching a big break IMO if Pryors a no go

I'm scared of our defense facing Pryor, yes. He's not so scary on his own, but against our D...I'm nervous.

We had no money this offseason to improve either area, bottom line we are missing a few more key pieces and our QB is coming off major knee surgery. Last was a great season but by no means were we a top tier team, we had to win 7 in a row to win the division. Synder would be dumb to fire Mike, if I was him I would extend him during the bye week to make all this talk go away. Now firing Haslet and shaking up coaching staff I could see, but no to firing Mike.
Good post, I think we will right the ship & finish 10-6.

I'm with you. Things look dark but IMO we will rebound. My only fear regards our rebound being "too little, too late."

I was picking Oak until Pryor got hurt and now even if he does play I dont think he will be 100% and that is what will make the difference. The Skins get their first win of the year.

The schedule is really tough this year, but until the Redskins win a game, we really don't know what kind of team they are. Can they beat the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles? Sure. Will they? Who knows right now. Can they beat the Broncos? Probably not, but they may be able to beat the 49ers, so its all just up in the air. Until they figure out how to play more disciplined, error-free football, they will continue to lose.

So we have 13 games remaining and need to go 10-3. Who do we beat with a sieve of a defense and a disjointed offense:

@ DEN, @ ATL, KC, Bears....I don't see it
Cross country @ OAK, @ DAL....doubtful

SD, @ MIN, @ PHI, SF, NYG, DAL, @ NYG.....50/50 for these games, I'll give us homerism and say we go 4-3 in these, plus steal either @ OAK or @ DAL. That leaves us at 5-8 for the remaining games and 5-11 for the season.

At least we're helping the Rams compete out West.

Yep, we'll help the Rams get a whole lot better if they draft right then they can all beat the piss out of each other in the AFC west. Long term but a bright side. but not really.
