^ But I'll remain optimistic and say 2-2 at the Bye.
The Bye which happened to come at a great time seeing how off we look.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
The problem is if rg3 struggles than shanny will be on the hot seat ....yes we won the divison but out of the 4 years as a head coach his win lose season would be 1 out of the 4 seasons and that's not good espically with his resume of bad defense.
If rg3 doesn't improve than that's not good....people also don't point out that he will likely get injured and that alone is a worry!!!. If kirk starts that's trouble since I believe at this point with all this rg3 rusty stuff would be than our best choice . |

I think we lose to detroit and oakland is not a bad team infact they might beat us we are not good against oakland and mcfadden going to have 100 yards could be trouble. I think our first win is against dallas.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
Are they even allowed to do that at this point? I know every team is at the same "disadvantage" but I think the lack of hitting in training camps is a big reason for a lot of the sloppy play.

New NFL rules make it extremely difficult to have full padded practices. Tackling has been bad throughout the league.

that game told me a lot about Haslett. He never adjusted to the player. He kept in his Ponder game plan. He did the same thing when Amedola torched us last year. He doesn't adjust in games.

Can we just stop trusting RG3 to make the best decision about his body in regards to his injury?
He's not a 100%. |

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
Why do people keep saying this? RGIII looks fine out there health wise. He was fast on his scramble, and he's moving around very well. This isn't a health issue. I feel it's more of a scheme issue than anything. We seem to do well with a up tempo pace on offense, so why not run that? Also some OL issues when we try to run the normal offense.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
[QUOTE=DynamiteRave;1025830]Not so much the D but the offense is historically bad.
If the offense could get rolling I think if we didn't win games, they'd at least be competitive. For the life of me, I don't understand why they've got the handcuffs on RG3. He's a terrible pocket passer and when he is paying attention to the pocket, he looks constantly paranoid. They need to be using rollouts, bootlegs and for the love of God, get rid of that horrible toss play and use the read option.[/ If a QB that we gave 2 fist rounds picks for can't play from the pocket then we blew that trade. Personally I don't think he's a "terrible" QB in the pocket, but he will never be Aaron Rodgers....and the price we paid paid to get him, he needs to be that guy. And someone here compared RG3 to Warren Moon? Really? You're talking about one of the best pure ever. |

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
So what is a realistic guess, based on the way we have played so far, for a win and loss record?
I am looking at the schedule right now, and thinking of the way we've been playing, and how bad our defense is, i am very nervous looking at the whole entire schedule. We play some tough teams. We could very well be 0-4 going into the bye, and the teams just get tougher after that. We are going to need things to turn around very quick or this could be a long year.
