Re: Redskins Cuts
I guess the big question to me is do you keep a "specialist" on the 53 man roster JUST to return punts? Or do you go with a Moss/Hall or someone like that in order to use that extra slot somewhere else. I mean Brandon Banks was really a "specialist". They tried to use him on offense, but he was really a decoy and not very effective. Chris Thompson would be a 4th RB or really a "specialist" as a PR. I agree with a lot of you guys in that if the Redskins put him on the PS, he will get claimed. Can you afford to tie up a Roster spot for him. If you do, I say let him return Kicks as well.

Re: Redskins Cuts
Thompson is on the squad...whether he returns punts right off the bat or not I don't know but they wont risk losing him.

Re: Redskins Cuts
Lets just make RG3 our PR as well. There, problem solved.

Re: Redskins Cuts
I'm sure if you asked RGIII he would give his 2 cents about returning kicks.

Re: Redskins Cuts
I think Thompson will have the inside track to be the main punt returner. He looked pretty smooth against Buffalo doing it. Just gotta shore up that fumbling issue.

You listen to the media too much. There's no feuds and Griffin isn't unhappy here. Are you sure you're actually a Redskins fan? When it comes to RGIII being a Redskin, I don't understand how any true fan can have anything but excitement and optimism for our franchise right now and in the future.

Right now, I would trust only Santana Moss to return punts.
