I'll be shocked if we win Sunday...it's almost impossible to conjure up a scenario where we win anytime soon. On the other hand Miami should win some games going forth and give us a better pick in the draft

Maybe we can get in the top three but I don't know if there's much value there beyond Luck?
There are PLENTY of quality players coming out of college this year besides Andrew Luck.

The Skins need help in so many places that they will have the chance to draft several key contributors to the team going forward. Their challenge is not to swing and miss on any of their top three picks...

Not to call them out, but I recall someone on this board saying they were blind. I kind of wonder how they experience game day

Word. But assuming we have a top 5 pick what position of need outside QB is justifiable for a pick that high in the draft. (LT obviously is one but we've got Trent.) I would say a standout stud NT like BJ Raji qualifies but then we're right back to spending high picks on defense. An Eric Berry FS type could also qualify for a top 5 pick...same problem though.

Wide Receiver...of the really elite variety. But like any draftee at any position, they need to show they got the tools to deserve being drafted that high.

Usually I'd be against WR in top 10 but if it's Justin Blackmon I'd be stoked that guy is like Calvin Johnson

Damn, when MattyK doesn't seem to care things are truly dire. I say Mike just plays all the newbies that are worth a damn and get them ready for the 2012 campaign. I know I opened that Let's Dive for a Top Five thread, but there are so many great Qbs coming out we can get one stellar QB getting a top 12 pick, if not 15. A top 5 pick would get us a Kellen Moore though.

At this point Goat, as long as we pick QB first, any position you mentioned would be a good pick. CB, S, LB, OL, NG. Anything we get in the top 3 r-4 rounds will be a substantial help to us. Personally I would go QB CB OL OL LB. Our defensive backfield sucks too bad to be ignored in the draft.
