RG3 is more accurate passer than both Landry Jones and Matt Barkley. That's not my opinion it's a fact. What exactly are basing your assessment on? It couldn't have nothing to do with what's happening on the field. |

Want me to use Adrian Peterson instead? Chester Taylor is almost forgotten now. How long has it been since that pick in 2007? A little more than 4 years.

On the other hand, while worthly of celebration, that draft should also be acknowledged as an element of the distant, distant past that unfortunately has no relevance today. |

As far as Landry Jones vs RG3... RG3 padded his stats early against the Rice's and Stephen F. Austins of the world. He hasn't been great the past 3 weeks with only 5tds and 4ints. Landry Jones has been torching it lately with 10 tds in the past two games against quality opponents like K-State and Texas Tech. I'm no QB expert, I just like Barkley and Jones better as pro-prospects than I do RG3. I never said I didn't like RG3 btw. Anyway, I'm not a pro scout so it doesn't really matter, and I'm also not really in the mood to get into a RG3 argument for the sake of satisfying your man-crush on him.

According to NFL.com, these are the 10 worst teams in the league, in order with everything considered. Redskins 3-4 Broncos 2-5 Seahawks 2-5 Panthers 2-6 Jaguars 2-6 Vikings 2-6 Cards 1-6 Rams 1-6 Colts 0-8 Dolphins 0-7 Long story short, there's a long ways to go before we can start talking draft order and things of that nature. With that said, out of the 4 1-win teams I'm rooting for the Rams to lose out, because I would take Bradford just as much, if not moreso, than I would take one of the qb's in this draft.

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed
I know the "next years class" has been my go to joke the last couple of years when it comes to the draft but I'm getting the feeling that when January comes around enough QB's will stay in school to start producing those uneasy feelings and people that are on the fence will actually be serious about saying "lets wait for next years class." I mean lets look at the prospects
Andrew Luck - Not as a prospect for us to draft but his availability might affect who falls to us. Anyway it seems like a good chance that he could come out. He'll have his degree and could easily have a national championship by years end. Then again he might not be enamored about the prospect of sitting behind Peyton for 3 or 4 years so he might stay in school. Landry Jones - All but out of the title hunt. I said before that he would be a likely candidate to go back if they didn't win a national title and now it looks like that will be put to the test. Plus he saw his buddy Bradford go 1st overall despite being injured early in the year so having an injury affect his draft stock probably won't concern him to much. Matt Barkley - I don't know for sure but as I've said before he is likely a lifelong USC fan (born in Southern California) that likely comes from money (~$40k tuition to go to his high school for 4 years) so going to the draft isn't a priority. Plus you have Andrew Luck leaving the PAC 12 the NCAA ban being lifted (something Barkley has apparently been looking forward to) and a team thats played pretty damn well in spite of the ban (would probably be top 10 right now). Also remember he didn't split and played a big role in encouraging key players to stay and wait out the ban so the team would be ready for 2013. Robert Griffin III - Don't know to much about him but everyone says he's a very bright kid. To me that usually means schools a priority which would increase the likelihood of him staying but again I don't know a lot of specifics about his situation (SS33 that's your cue).

1. QB
2. BEST AVAILABLE OFFENSIVE LINEMEN (NEED DEPTH ACROSS THE BOARD) 3. BEST AVAILABLE OFFENSIVE LINEMEN (NEED DEPTH ACROSS THE BOARD) 4. BEST AVAILABLE OFFENSIVE LINEMEN (NEED DEPTH ACROSS THE BOARD) 5. QB 6. ILB 7. CB This would be my 7 round draft strategy. Our QB and OL combined play just drags on you mentally week after week. I think that we should pick a corner near the third round though. maybe the fourth. We need some life in our secondary.

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed
One things for sure though no going short change on the QB position. As promising as Jenkins looks and as intriguing as the future potential of Leonard Hankerson is, it's looking like it wasn't worth not trying to trade up for Andy Dalton. Then again hindsight is 20/20.
Also Daltons early success may be slightly deceiving. AJ Green is a ridiculously talented safety net. I like to call it the Culpepper effect.

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed
QB, OL, WR, and CB are our most pressing needs by far imo.
we need to get younger at the qb position and more talent, bottom line. rex/beck may be serviceable for another year or so if they get some more talent around them, but we need to groom a guy for the future or plug them in to start next year. our 1st string O-line is ok, but we need depth. we could also use a new starting right tackle. we need a playmaker at wide receiver. moss is a slot receiver at this point in his career and should definitely remain on the team, but we need a wide receiver that strikes fear into opposing teams. we do not have one. we need someone they have to gameplan against. our corners suck. we dont have a #1 as hall and wilson are both #2 corners or even nickle guys. i think hall would be good as a nickle corner personally, but we definitely dont have a shut down guy, and kevin barnes sucks. aside from these 4 areas of need, i think we are ok. these are definitely the areas i'd focus on in the offseason/draft at this point.
