Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Lol, Saints used one of their own as an umpire on that pass to Bush.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
You know the Vikes only kept 3 CBs.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Vikes are doing a good job at keeping Brees on the sidelines.

Damn, AP is hard to bring down.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Well it seems as though the momentum has somewaht shifted, and the Saints have completely abodoned the running game.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
I'm surprised the Vikes' DB didn't get flagged for taking off his helmet.
The Vikes' defense is stepping up, if they get ahead they can control the TOP with the way AP is running.

I am right there with you. It did not fall off or anything, they got away with one there.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Yeah the Vikes are the stronger team now. Why is Peyton ignoring the running game completely?

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Favre looked fragile after that hit. Vilma got away with a push there though, still Favre trying too hard to make something out of a lost play.
Why is NO being conservative with just running plays?

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
I said this earlier. Farve looks like he doesnt want to be there. It is just a wierd feeling I am getting from him. I guess it would be his body language, and now he gets popped in the chest and does what he does at times. Throws picks.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
The vikes had some mo thier, and that TO definately cost them. Well would have cost them more if the kicker made it.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
I don't get why the Saints went conservative with 3 running plays. They got 0 points of that turnover.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Sometimes coaches do some dumb things.... I guess they thought that they hadn't run it yet so lets try now.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
He seems way to gimpy to last the entire season.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
I dont see the fire in Farve.. he looks old or nervous or both, and yes he seems gimpy and fragile. But those 2 passes right there were vintage.
