how many teams has warner been the starting qb for ? 3, if thats correct then he has taken 2 out of the 3 to the superbowl and out of the two trips to the big game he's won 1. thats pretty impressive too me. btw, who was the mvp of the 1 he won ?
Your rhetoric is insulting my intelligence. I am fully aware of Warner's accolades. Considering that the MVP of the Super Bowl is usually the QB anyway, pointing out the fact that he won it isn’t really saying much.

BTW, I am not wrong until my hypothesis is wrong. If Leinart fails to put up Warner type numbers in Arizona with the same supporting cast, then I will be wrong. I will proudly admit that I am wrong if that day comes. Right now I have my opinion of Warner and I am sticking to it.

well here is what leinart has done so far with the same supporting cast
In his four-year career, Leinart holds a career completion rate of 57.1, a weak yards-per-attempt average of 6.5, and a 14:20 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

thats not quite warners numbers, so be proud and admit your wrong.

Nope, hold on until next season. He has only started one season and that was his rookie season. Sorry, but you cannot judge him on that, and mop up duty. We'll see in a year.

I'll be stunned if Leinart ever becomes a 4,000 yard/30 TD/65% completion QB.

Did Kurt Warner cut you off in traffic or something like that? Just curious, you're definitely going out of your way to complain about him and make a fanatical case against Warner to everyone that has anything remotely good to say about him.

I doubt he will either but he has the WRs too put up some good numbers. He has the offensive weapons to succeed especially with the run game that started to develop this year. If Leinart decides put as much effort this offseason into his game as he does into partying and steps up his work ethic, he might be a good surprise for Arizona. My wife's cousin works with the Cardinals he told me not to believe the "Leinart will be our starter" crap, he believes they'll draft a QB early and let them compete for the starting job maybe that'll get him going.

Warner has had a good career. If he had faded into oblivion after the Rams, I believe he wasn't Hall of Fame material, but after a resurrection of a horrible franchise and strong seasons near the end, I think he'll be in.

No, I was replying to the people that were replying to me. Sorry, I just don't see warner as a great QB. Good yes, but not great. I'm done talking about this for another year.

I dont understand why he's retiring when he plays better than 95% of the NFL's QBs today. Warner has an amazing career arc. He goes from nowhere to the top, back to nowhere, and back to the top. I think he's a solid HoFer.
