I want Devine to be a redskin so bad it hurts sometimes. He's fast, strong, and small (I've always liked small running backs, they fit through holes that barely exist and their hard to find), and he has incredible balance. I think at the very least he's a better Darren Sproles, and at best he's Barry Sanders. Either way I think if we go to a multi back rotation, get a guy to pound it like Toby Gerhart and we get Devine, we'll have one of the best backfields in football.

edit: forgot to mention that he has amazing vision

Easy on the possible Barry Sanders comparisons. Remember Barry got 2,600+ yards in college over the course of a single season. Devine would have to almost double his yardage from this season to get that. In short, you'll know have a very good idea of when the next Barry Sanders will come along.

In 1988 Sanders also got over 100 more touches than Devine. Yes 7.6 avg is rediculous but Devine had 8.6 his freshman year (granted he was used as a backup change of pace back). I'm not gonna say that Devine is going to be better than Sanders and maybe the comparison is slight hyperole, but look at his consistently high numbers through college, watch wvu games and highlights of his running, I think he can be special.

If Tate < rb , Auburn > is sitting at the end of rd 2 < we would need to trade down > , he would be a nice pick-up , very tough runner.

Gary Patterson will have a big time HC job sooner rather than later. He's a phenomenal recruiter and snags guys out of the jaws of Texas and Oklahoma regularly these days.

EDIT: TCU's cheerleaders are totally legit too.

If we are going to move Rak to DE full time, we need a new SLB.

Didn't know he was a great recruiter, but I was thinking the same thing in terms of TCU now competing with larger programs in that region.

Sort of unrelated, I also think this is what Notre Dame has suffered from, as well as coaching. Not so much recruiting in general, but the rise of smaller programs such as the TCUs, Boise States, Rutgers, and the Cincys of college football. I think their fortunes might turn with Kelly being on board now.

I don't think Mike Leach has the balls to lock that guy in an equipment shed.

i know i have said this before but i have such a hatred towards boise state, i don't think they should be allowed to compete in the bcs until they change their pos blue smurf f-ed field, you can't even watch a game on that field it gives me a huge headache, until they change their field i will root for their demise, even though they run a good program. seriously fuck that field!!!!

I agree. I don't watch Boise home games because they hurt too much.
