Second of all, RB's can be found anywhere in the draft so don't worry, I have a feeling Shanahan will bring in a good RB here that doesn't have to be a 3rd rounder.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Cowboys)

I had my company Xmas party last night, and I only saw a total of maybe a quarter of the game. And you know what? I couldn't have cared less. It was kind of weird. Playing Dallas at home and I wasn't bothered one bit by the fact that I missed the game. Tells you where we're at as a team.

My smackdown goes to the 2009 Redskins' season. Thanks for nothing.

Playing in your last home game against your archrival who can clinch the playoffs with a win... and you fail to score a single effing point???

Joe Theisman said this morning on the radio that he could see nearly half of this team not returning for 2010. God I hope he's right.

Unless theres is an AP type running back in the draft, I'm good with drafting a running back in the 1st round. I feel like you can plug just about anyone in there and if the holes are good, they'll run well. I really hope next year we have a solid change of pace back, not someone who is a mirror image of our starter.

He hasn't been looking very good on those either.

For the past two years at least. He's thrown behind pretty much everyone in the intermediary routes.. even screens.

You know man I've been a DIEHARD skins fan my whole life.. And I can relate to what you just said.. I did watch the game because my inlaws are cowboys fans and I always watch these teams play, but I really didn't care that we were so bad, hell we have been bad for 15 years or so! I really don't know what to think about this team anymore, will the skins ever be back into the SB? I'm sure they will eventually but my god we have to rebuild yet again. I mean what happens if Shanny and Allen don't turn this around asap? How much more can US skins fans take of losing football?

I say no.
No , I would not go WR - TE . What I'am saying is this , I would pick a HOF type RB or DL as opposed to a Tackle that I believed was an above average T . I would 1st , bring in 2-3 OL in F/A , then I would not have to use " all of my pics " on one position . I will put it this way , if in rd 2 I have to choose between D.Dockery and B. Sanders ... I draft Sanders .

The team sucks period. You act like Sherm Lewis could turn things around for the long haul. You could have brought VInce Lombardi back via time machine and these bums would still suck. WE have very few bona fide stars on our team with Cooley hurt and Portis probably looking at possible early retirement. On top of that we have absolutely no depth at the skilled positions. Mr. Allen is going to blow this franchise up and start anew I think.

Rather have more of a bruiser like Westbrook or another Portis. Peterson had only a few really good games this season. He is quick as hell, but maybe too quick. Half the time he doesn't hit the holes his line has for him or he is just too quick for his line to make the holes for him yet. The best Skins RB I can think of as a prototype for what I would like to see us get is a Stephen Davis clone.
