I don't think a die hard fan would do that.

Re: Do you have a "Scab Team"?
I've always had 2nd and 3rd favorite teams (Saints and Bengals (apparently I'm a masochist)). The Bengals used to be #2, but after living in New Orleans for a brief period and having my fiancee as a Saints fan, I'm pulling hard for them now. Certainly not more so than the Skins, but definitely rooting for them.
No one ever takes the number 1 spot, not even for a season, but I've always rooted for those teams when they were not playing the Skins. Outside of football, I'm an O's and Hornets fan with the Wizards making a comeback. I'm a strange kind of basketball fan, I follow players more than teams excluding the two I listed. So, I like to watch plenty of teams because of players I like, but I root for the Wizards and Hornets regardless (unless the Hornets let CP3 go, then I'm off that). |

Re: Do you have a "Scab Team"?
I'm actually a Pats fan, mainly cause I play in a 4 player keeper league and have had Brady for 5 years.... so I'm always rooting for Brady. But I like some of their other players and they're very well coached.

I did not think that at the age of 40 that he would be able play the way he is with no off season. Farve is just playing really well, still has a gun, not throwing stupid passes, looking guys off, using a little mobility...he's just balling. The guy is a true freak of nature. And Percy Harvin is a total beast. |

Re: Do you have a "Scab Team"?
Thanks for the correction I should of looked it up instead of trying to go buy memory. Still an exciting finish.

Re: Do you have a "Scab Team"?
No other favorite NFL team for me. I do have individual favorite players from other teams that I like to watch, but not favorite teams. Only the Redskins. They can be 0-16 and I'd still be a Redskins fan.

Re: Do you have a "Scab Team"?
There have been a lot of good things mentioned that really come into play on this. I think what it comes down to, for me, is the emotional attachment I have to the team... well over 30 years. On the flip side though, it really is difficult to care for a team in which it appears that the owner has no care for, outside of monitary gain. If Snyder did care, he would do something about it. But then, I think about how successful of a business man he is, that he must know something I don't. Clearly he doesn't know how to run a football organization, but you would think he knows something about operations, and if your key man running the operation isn't producing results, you take the accountability back to him. I just can't imagine him being so blind.
Yes, I will never give up on our Burgandy and Gold, they will always be number one in my heart. Hell, I am even wearing my gear out publicly, if anything, it is a great conversation starter.

I've tried to like the Ravens especially since they're practically local, but everytime I watch them, I find myself hoping that they'll lose. EDIT: Okay.. I do like the Red Sox. But other than that nobody else.
