Welcome to the preview of the post-salary cap era when the Bills will have a $15 million payroll.

I mentioned it in the Hall thread, but im starting to cool off on Hall. I really think he's going to command a larger contract than he's worth (and thats coming from someone who most of you think highly over-values Hall).

There are plenty of young corners available who may not have the playmaking ability that Hall has, but who have good coverage skills and who could be had at a lower price.

If I had to make a choice between signing Hall or signing Dockery and someone like Buchannon, then its not even a choice - "Bye Bye, Hall. Enjoy wearing that ugly 50th anniversary logo on your helmet."

I don't want to jump the gun, but I'm starting to get a real good feeling about next year.

I knew sooner or later someone would be against it. There's gotta always be someone that goes against logical thinking.

Imagine how easy it'll be for us to make trades with no salary cap. With cheap teams like the Bills and Cardinals it'll be like shooting fish in a barrell. At the sake of sounding like a lister how about

LT - Samuals
LG - Dockery
C - 3rd Round Prospect
RG - Brandon Moore
RT - Andre Smith

I know it's not realistic with all the money constraints and the fact that only one draft pick will be used on OL but it looks really pretty.

Has he ever played on the Right side? Didn't we fail at a similar experiment with Fabini at guard? Was it Fabini or Wade? I cannot remember.

It was Wade. But I think Dockery is a better player than Wade. Ideally though, I'd like to see a rookie stud lineman at RT.

Now that he has lost your vote, I am sure Vinny will have him signed tonight

Hey just got cut by the team that gave him a huge contract. That affect his ability to ask for more money. The advantage we have is that he's been here before and did well while playing for Buges.

Re: Dockery Cut:

It's kind of funny how we used the comp pick we got for losing Dockery on Rinehart, a guy we thought would replace Dockery...and now we could just be getting Dockery back anyway.

I am sure that's what Vinny had planned all along.
