Well you couldn't exactly say that Jason Garrett is catching a lot of flack along with the rest of the mass chaos. TO is the problem, he is a fantastic player, but no matter how much better he makes your team talentwise, he is still an mouthy mental-head case who either needs to retire or shut up. I saw his childrens book Little T Learns to Share and the sequel, Big T Forgets How to Share He is tearing their franchise limb from limb.

Well I don't disagree with you about T.O. But I've been watching First Take on ESPN2 and Jason Garrett IS catching a lot of flack. By fans and some of the commentators. He calls the offense and a lot of people are wondering why he can't get T.O. the ball. That's not my opinon, it's what I'm seeing and hearing.

I didn't mean it like that, Garret is taking a lot of flack, when i said you couldn't say..., i was talking about the expression organization.

I hope that's the case. If their season continues down this path, they'd be foolish not to make a run at Bill Cowher. But they've been foolish so far, so hopefully that continues.

Cowher is probably going to want some sort of front office power. I don't see Jones giving that up.

He won't give that up. Too hard headed and egotistical. Again, they've been foolish up to this point, and I really hope they continue to do so. Jason Garrett will be just another puppet for Jones to play with.

Yes, but we're halfway through the season and Dallas is still giving up those kinds of points!

Re: Around the NFL week 9

When the owner does post game press-conference after every game it's kinda hard to see him give up any sort of power. Then again money talks and Jones pays pretty big bucks.

Yeah, but do realize that if the Redskins and Eagles were as good last year as they are this year, the Giants finish 8-8, in last place, and don't even make the playoffs.

That's exactly the best case scenario for Dallas, and thats assuming they do get it turned around and don't lose to SF or SEA (they are 0-2 against the NFC West thus far).

Re: Around the NFL week 9

Anyone catch the Thursday night game b/t Denver and Cleveland? I knew Marshall had something he was going to pull out after he scored the touch (before Stokely stopped him):

Glove celebration

If the game wasn't close, I think his teammates let him do it. The act wouldn't have had the same impact as Smith and Carlos ('68), though.
