I'm concerned about Moss as well honestly. His groin problems are cropping back up again. He's a baller when healthy, but man he's hurt a LOT.

Definitely the quarterback position. This team will be as successful as the quarterback is efficient. If Jason Campbell does well, the team will do well. If Jason Campbell get's hurt or struggles mightily and Mark Brunell comes in the same answer applies. I am cautiously optimistic in what Jason Campbell will do for us this year, but he is still unproven, and he is still pretty green.

I just hope that if MB does need to come in for any reason that the fans do boo him again...

I'm surprised no one has said our cornerbacks. (Unless I missed it already). We can be close to great at that position if Springs stays healthy, if Rogers holds on to potential interceptions, if Smoot doesn't continue the downward spiral he seemed to be on in Minnesota, if Butler and Macklin can step up as solid nickel/dime corners (more so than say Kenny Wright).

That's a lot of "If's"

Re: What worries you most?

Atleast we addressed that problem with quantity. We'll have to wait and see about quality. But our depth increases the chances of a more stingy defense overall. Short of a number of catastrophic injuries, we should have cornerbacks up and down the cornerback depth chart. Not safeties picked up in the middle of the season playing nickel and dime packages.

That's a step up. But our defense in general needs to completely turn the corner, or we're definitely screwed.

Re: What worries you most?

I'm worried most about Jason Campbell. Although, I liked what I've seen from him last year, he is still an unproven young QB. Teams only go as far as their QB takes them.

The second thing i'm worried about is our defensive pressure on the QB. I think we'll be better but it's still a major area of concrern.

I'm worried about Brandon Lloyd earning his paycheck, London Fletcher producing and not turning out to be a bust, and Clinton Portis' health.

I guess because our cbs are a given problem.... we just didn't think of it as the biggest worry. We always worry about them.

Re: What worries you most?

I am going to commit the ultimate sacrilege and say coaching. Yes, coaching. I am worried about whether we will try to be a Gibbs smashmouth offense or a Saunders play action offense. That schizophrenia killed us last year when players didn't know the schemes and seemed confused as to what kind of team we were. And our inability to establish offensive rhythm resulted in far too many 3-and-outs and caused our D to be on the field far too long (not to mention hindered the development of our new QB).

Maybe the focus on "run first" in the last part of the season will carry over, although it begs the question of what role Gibbs envisions for Saunders. It would seem a waste to have him calling plays for a Joe Gibbs offense.

If we can commit to some scheme that makes sense given our personnel, I think we have enough talent to get 9 wins and maybe more, even with only 1 proven WR with injury issues (let's not forget Cooley) and even with real questions on the D line (which should be better with a better secondary and better LBs -- who I expect to blitz, and I salivate at the prospect of Taylor or Landry coming off a safety blitz).

So with the understanding that criticizing the coaching may result in my future postings to be re-directed to a Dallas fan site, I still think this is a real impediment, albeit a solvable one.

I don't think those numbers I mentioned are unrealistic at all, those are the exact averages (over a full season) he had in his 7 games last year.

I'd like to see around 3500 yards and a few rushing td's. If he can be between 58-60% we'll look great.
