I didn't realize Sage, Gus, and Trent have all played for the Fins. Crazy. Can you say 2012 starting Dolphins QB Casey Bramlet?

Not a good sign when your getting all the Redskins' castaway quarterbacks of the last decade. I wouldn't want any of those guys back.

However, Trent was the best of the bunch and he actually walked away from a pretty fair offer from us if I remember correctly. I think Trent at this point reminds me of a Brad Johnson or Mark Brunell of the last couple years. Definitely not a world beater, but he'll play with a lot of pride in his first game. He'll want to prove immediately to Fish Nation that he is not done. The only problem for Dolphins fans is that he is definitely pretty close. He's got a year or two at best before he really starts to erode. It may have already happened. We'll get a first hand look, but don't count out that adrenaline factor pumping him up for game one. It's the grind that usually wears these old galoots down.

If we have any defense at all I don't predict the Fins putting up big numbers on offense, but there defense should be stout. Ultimately, that is what worries me. You don't want to give Green a chance to win that game late. He's the kind of guy that can easily march his team to a long field goal. I think that's why we're all pulling for a blowout. We haven't seen one of those on opening day in a long time. If we've really come around like I hope we have this game could get ugly for them. But beware the first year coach and the veteran QB in new colors playing together in their first game.
