What are you up to? I see that you went to UVA, which is an awesome school.
First year associate at a firm in DC. UVA was great, but graduation wasn't much of a relief knowing that the bar was right around the corner. Then finishing the bar wasn't much of a relief since you don't know if you passed. But the day I found out I had passed was a great one.

I hear you about living in a medium-sized market and being able to buy a nice house and not have a bad commute. The decision to come back to DC was a tough one with offers in other cities like Denver and Charlotte.

HOLY CRAP!!! I went to Gettysburg my Freshman year (96-97). I got a bid to TKE but never pledged. Russell Canard and Paul Andrews lived in my dorm (Huber Hall) and I grew up with Russell. Russell did go on to TKE and I believe he ended up as their house president. We went to elementary school together in DC. That's amazing. I'd love to chat and see who else you know. That's crazy. PM me if you want.

By the way, I went to:

K-8: Blessed Sacrament Elementary (Wash, DC)
9-12: Georgetown Prep (Rockville, MD)
1 year at Gettysburg College (Gettysburg, PA)
2 years Santa Fe CC (Gainesville, Fl)
the rest at University of Florida (Gainesville, Fl)

I wish I could rub off some of the Gators athletic success on the Skins!

Re: Where did everybody go to school?

GMScud,

I went to Blessed Sacrament. I also remember a guy named "Ziezell" who hung out with Russell a lot. I used to be real tight with Paul Andrews before I left the DC area and I used to hang out with Russell a lot. I visited them at their dorms their freshman year, went to a few Gettysburg parties, and hing out at both of their beachhouses. I think Paul's younger brother might be your age (or a year younger than you). You know him? PM me.

I PM'd you. Check it out. Anyway, this site has proven to be pretty amazing the last few weeks. Just about 2 weeks ago I found out that Redskin8858 and I are cousins. Now I run into someone I went to elementary school with? Crazy. Yet another reason to love the Skins I guess....

I was at DOJ first summer and Patton Boggs second. We're unassigned for the first year, so I try a little of everything.
