Re: QB Prospects Thread

I'd take a pick haul from Minnesota, why not. Not sold on the top 3 qbs so I would take a worth while trade

Re: QB Prospects Thread

I am committed to accepting the front office's decision

All fans should repeat this affirmation to themselves in the morning, at lunch and in the evening.

We have grown up football people making grown up decisions. Can they be wrong, yes, but they have earned the chance to make This specific decision.

This is an interesting read.

No idea how good these guys are but it's refreshing to find someone who's prepared to put their head on the block rather than just follow perceived wisdom.

His takes are the dumbest shit out there.
He's basically begging for a professional job and is just shitting on the top two prospects hoping that one is a bust so he can say he was right.

Top notch NFL minds right here

A professional highlight came in 2017 when Cleveland Browns’ owner Jimmy Haslam personally wrote to me and asked me for my ideas. That turned into 166-page GM proposal, which I sent to him in the Spring of 2018.

Since being out of the league, I’ve come close to getting back in a few times. Most recently, I interviewed with former Redskins’ Team President, Bruce Allen in 2019.
WTF is this? Do they just pop one out and leave it behind every year?

Have to admit he does come across as a bit desperate in his bio.
Bragging about having had an interview with Bruce Allen is definitely not a wise move.

Lol. If I knew Bruce Allen, I'd lie and say I never met him.

Yeah, he might as well have said that he and Cerrato used to compare notes.

I am sorry I added a click to this worthless garbage. I follow Tennessee, to put Joe Milton ahead of the other guys is just a guy being a clown.

Love it. Not buying the "top 3" at all.

Re: QB Prospects Thread

I know I want Jayden Daniels, because when I read mock drafts where he's the choice, I like it. If it's Maye, I don't like it. It's just a visceral reaction, no time to think too much. Just straight gut.

Still haven't seen a publicized mock with J.J.M. at 2 yet, so still waiting for someone to go there.

I know I make fun of Caleb a lot but I almost feel bad for him. He has no shot going to Chicago. He's going to be put in a really bad situation there.

Re: QB Prospects Thread

JJ’s tape is pretty good. He’s your prototypical pocket passer. Accurate, good arm and throws on time. Idk if I’d take him at 2 but he’ll go top 15 I bet

Re: QB Prospects Thread

The concern I have with Daniels is his post season draft ranking rise. Most rankings had him outside the top 10 in January while Maye was generally ranked top 5 then. (Note most still have Maye higher than Daniels). I just don't like going with late risers, we did that with Jamin Davis and Forbes and that didn't pan out. I'd prefer Maye over Daniels (and Williams over both).

Yeah, late risers are often the result of media and fan adulation, often fuelled by the agents who actively look to disparage the competing players. Daniels was rated as a 3rd round pick before last season, before the predraft hype machine got into full swing there was no doubt Maye was one of the best prospects of the last decade, now some talking heads declare he isn't even a 1st rounder . I will leave it to the FO to sift the facts from the innuendo, but there seem to be a lot of people, even here, who are absolutely convinced Daniels is a star and will likley be complaining loudly if he is not the pick at #2.
