Yes agree. His tenure is something like a movie. The most grueling, unbearable film ever made that lasted seemingly forever. So glad he's gone.

My big question is why the franchise hasn't purged the team of the widely detested Snyder name yet.

Yes agree. I'm good with keeping Commanders and the unis actually. Unis look sharp. We've had enough change at this point.

Because the name is not a Snyder name. The name change happened during a time when Snyder was too busy gutting the team for money and basically committing fraud.

Whether people like it or not, the name Redskins has become more associated with Snyder than Commanders. I dare say that now the Commanders name is more associated with Harris and the new regime.

More than likely yes. Does it matter at this point though? He is gone forever. I see your point, but I honestly never though about the correlation until now. Feel it'd more of a hassle to change it. Commanders and unis are cool. We have bigger fish to fry at this point. I want continuity.

I'm not advocating a name change although I always use Redskins when referring to the team and think I always will.

I still have all of my Redskins items. 12 jerseys and lots of hats and shirts. Will never get rid of.

I still believe they will change it, but Harris said in January they have bigger issues - new FO (done), new coaching staff (done), clean up Snyder's mess (ongoing), new stadium (ongoing)
My hope is still that they announce a name change and the new stadium plans after the finish their playoff run this year.

Whilst most would love a name change, I do not foresee it ever happening. At least not back to the Skins. It is what it is, I've learned to deal with it. Never been that enamored with the Commanders, but again is what it is. Doesn't make me love the team any less.

As to the topic, I think Daniels can turn out to be a very good QB for us. Key will be for the fans and coaches alike, to be patient with him.
