Yes. Once Luck signs (and there are reports that he is close), the rest will fall like dominos. The days of worrying about a holdout of your top pick are over, barring idiot players and agents.

I thought the basic contract was set from where he was drafted and the only thing that can be negotiated was bonuses and performance type stuff. Cam was signed before the new deal was done.

I might purchase RG3's jersey from that website myself.

This one looks pretty rough. BTW what is the elite Red color on the Redskins jerseys ( the color is a dark maroon and a far cry from the regular burgundy home jersey )? That isn't a color we wear anymore is it? Or is it something new for this year ( which I doubt )or is that the throw back jersey we wore a couple of years ago with the spear helmet?

I do like the RG III throwback for this year though. The gold numbers and name are growing on me. As well as the simplicity of the design.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread

No. FD is wrong. No player could sign before the new CBA was done.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread

This is why I hate NFL owners.

NFL - Tug-of-war over guarantees delays signings of some top draft picks - ESPN

Quote:
The debate is over the "offset." The teams who draft the first eight players want to be relieved of their guaranteed obligations if they cut a draft choice and he signs with another team. Agents say the player should be able to get all his guaranteed money from his first team and keep the new money from the new team.
****ing asshats are what they are. After not having to pay 50 mil in guaranteed money, they are now haggling over a couple mil? Really? The contracts are guaranteed for the 4 years. PERIOD. If you don't like it, tough shit. If you want to cut them, you still own them. Get over it and ****ing sign the players you cheap bastards.
